Plantronics Voyager Legend Headset with Portable Charging Case, Black

Great. A worthy upgrade from my old-faithful Voyager headset from 2011. Just as comfortable as the earlier model, slightly smaller. Wind resistance is a significant upgrade, I'm often walking through town with the headset and wind and background noise suppression is much more impressive. The best feature is also the easy on/off toggle switch, saving battery. I find I can leave the headset switched off, the phone started ringing, and in the time taken to switch on and lift onto my ear the phone has transferred the call to the headset and answered it. Works seamlessly. The only thing I've found tricky is the option to say 'answer' or 'ignore' to take a call whilst wearing. It clearly does not appreciate my south london accent, so I've started to try an American accent instead which seems to be working !I bought this headset with the charging case, and it's a terrific addition giving a full charge and a half. It also makes the headset easier to charge. Rather than a micro-USB socket, the headset comes with some cradle attachment which is a bit floppy for charging. It's easy to knock/dislodge and stop charging. Unlike the old model, you don't have a constant red to green LED, but some stupid flashing blue one. And this doesn't flash constantly - no - it has some stupid patten of 3/4 flashes, then long gap, then another set of flashes. So you're never sure - have I knocked it - has it stopped charging ?? Putting the headset in the cradle resolves this problem. It fits snuggly and securely, and the cradle does have a micro USB slot for charging. So the tiny headset charging cradle removes from the USB lead, it connects positively to the charging case, and plugs in and goes. You do have two stupid LED light displays ongoing - one represents the headset battery and one for the case battery - but at least you can set and forget safe in the knowledge it won't be dislodged and stop.Overall, I'm very pleased with this headset and case. Comfortable and functional with clear call quality, long battery life, and easy, seamless interface with my iPhone. Very much recommended.

What a great combination! An earpiece that is comfortable, when wearing all day, connects straight away, no faffing about waiting, and it tells you what's going on. When you switch it on, it says "Power On, Talk time 7 hours*, Phone 1 connected." all within 5 or 6 secs (*When fully charged). Brilliant! When you turn it off, it tells you, "Power Off". If it disconnects from your phone it tells you, "Phone 1 disconnected" and of course when it reconnects automatically, "Phone 1 connected" Not used the 'Voice Command' as yet, except when I have an incoming call, it says "Answer or Ignore" you just reply, with 'Answer or Ignore'. If you are not wearing it when a call comes in, it will automatically answer the call when you pick it up to put it on, clever!So what happens if your out and about and your 'talk time' is very low. Just pop it into the case. The case has a battery inside to charge the headset twice (ish). It's also a good place to store the headset when not in use and keeps the earpiece from getting dirty when in your pocket.The only downside for me was the earpiece. There are 3 'rubbery' earpieces supplied with the 'headset and case', small, medium and large, but none of them would quite fit properly in my ear. So it sits right next to my ear and the volume is still loud enough for me to hear and if not, I just push it in and hope it stays there long enough for me to finish the call.All in all a great piece of kit, although a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for these days and you get a lot with this kit. 5***** Love it.

Earpiece has superb clarity, callers have said they can't tell I'm hands free. Used daily in my role as a Photocopier Engineer - reliability is very good, I've never had the Bluetooth connection drop or fail. The fit and volume of an earpiece is always going to be an issue as small medium and large doesn't cover everyone's shape or size of ear but on distortion free max volume I can have a conversation whilst doing 70mph (with windows shut I might add!), and I wear glasses for driving. The smart features are, well smart! Providing you do the set up and change the language (defaults to American - I know that is a form of the English language but the call answer feature works much better once changed to English).Why only 4 stars? Actually the earpiece I would give 4.5 but the case only 3.5 as I'm on my third now. The main problem I have is when the earpiece is removed from the case and switched on nothing happens. Switch off and on again still nothing but leave it for a few minutes and it starts up ok - weird! The second earpiece failed to charge past 2 hours use whether charged in or out of the case, and that was after about 9 months - fortunately it has a 2 year warranty and Amazon have replaced it without question - their customer service really is without equal.I tried a few different Bluetooth earpieces before settling on the Legend, yes it's not without issues but still remains my first choice.

I've only had this a couple of days but I am impressed so far. Set up was easy enough and it connects to two seperate phones with no issues. Calls are clear and loud enough for me working at home.The build quality seems good as I would expect from Plantronics. The carry case is also a nice touch as it doubles as a portable charger should you be planning to be away from any power sources for a while.It is early days, but the signs are good and I hope to have this headset for a long time to come.EDIT - 6 months laterSo, I have had this headset for 6 months now and I really love it. It connects to both phones superbly everyday. The battery life is excellent, the call clarity is spot on and I find it really comfortable to wear all day.I've recommended it to colleagues who have also found the same.Good work Plantronics.
