The television has a very good sharp picture
The television has a very good sharp picture, which I am delighted with. At times the sound is rather tinny which I'm not too impressed with. I was expecting better, with it having the name Blaupunkt. I have a 40" Samsung in my lounge and am thoroughly satisfied with all aspects of it, therefore when I noticed on the front (Samsung panel inside) I was expecting better things. I purchased this for my bedroom, I previously had a 22" TV/DVD combi in there, and was not happy that when playing DVD's it would frequently stop before end of film etc, or skip bits, hence the reason I decided to buy this one but alas I am disappointed once again. Sometimes it plays ok, sometimes it doesn't, and I know all the DVD's are perfect because they play right through on my recorder without any problems. It looks as if I will have to use this more as basically a tv rather than a TV/DVD, which defeats the purpose.

TV/DVD combi - one REAL nice bit of entertainment
OMG i love this TV/DVD combi. The quality is there 100%. I popped a DVD in and off it went, the colours were vivid and deep - what a picture, the sound far surpassed what i expected after reading some reviews, this truly is a nice piece of kit. The stand was a little fiddly, but that is due to my arthritis, not so much the stand and TV. It looks great, really slim and unobtrusive and for now at least saves the need for any extra machines lying around - ahhhh, neatness :) It has 2 HDMI slots and a USB slot, it has 7 day programming, Freeview and PVR. The headphone socket is at the back. It has everything you can need, it doesn't weigh a ton and for a bedroom TV is more than adequate.Blaupunkt is German and the Germans really know how to make electrical items. I love this and wish i had taken the plunge well before to have bought it. I got it at a reduced price straight from Amazon - thumbs up guys, one happy customer here.

OK. Just ok
Overall it's user friendly, the picture quality is OK but takes some tweaking to get it sorted on the personal setting. The sound is atrocious and I had to get a long headphone jack to connect to an amplifier.I started a return/refund on the TV after two days as the dvd kept ejecting discs, making a right old noise until it just turned itself off so I was unable to turn it back on again. Discovered though that it was the exceptionally naff remote. The buttons get stuck down a lot.The really niggly points - the play/pause button for the dvd is right at the very bottom of the crappy remote. To unlock the dvd to make it multi-region you have to pay £4.50 to get the code. I can't find it anywhere online. And if you watch movie files on a burnt disc, e.g. avi. Then a timer/clock is displayed on the screen that is impossible to remove.Sadly I don't have £500 to splash out on a super-duper TV so I'll have to settle on this one. It's OK, not ideal. I actually miss old tube televisions with good sound and great picture and, importantly for me, that lasted for years and years. This is so light and plastic I'm wondering if it'll see its way through to Christmas 2015.

Not bad for the money
Firstly, the whole thing looked like it had been repackaged, the box very tatty and the cellophane on the screen was very poorly applied - contacted seller who assured me it was brand new, sorry but not convinced - unit would never have left the factory like that!So that aside, I decided to keep it and see how it went, pretty good picture and very easy to setup, has a nice TV guide and an always useful "last channel button" - we use it in our Motorhome, going pretty well so farThe only downside I can see, is the remote control buttons aren't very responsive - maybe a Firmware update, will have a play and if I manage to sort it, will report back!

Be prepared to clean off the sticky residue left when the protective tape is removed.
The sound quality needed some adjusting but got there. The picture is fine and we considered it to be good value. The biggest problem was the protective tape that was all around the edge of the tv. It left a dull tacky residue when removed. It took a lot of effort to find something to remove the glue.

Great smallish TV
This is a lovely TV. Really good picture and sound quality, although I only have this in my kitchen. I only use this with Sky so cannot comment on set up with Freeview or normal aerial. Only negative comment was I couldn't sync remote control on to my Sky one which means I have to use both TV and Sky remote controls, rather than being able to use my Sky one for both, but that's not a mega problem!Really pleased with TV and have yet to try DVD

Easy base fitment took 3 mins and a phillips screwdriver
TV received in less than 24 hours from order. Easy base fitment took 3 mins and a phillips screwdriver. Turned on and automated start up pretty much did the rest, was ready to roll in approx 5 mins. Lovely picture. Remote has plenty of buttons but fairly straightforward batteries are supplied. You will need an aeriel, i bought one with TV, I bought " August DTA240 - High Gain Freeview HD TV Aerial - Portable Indoor/Outdoor Digital Antenna for USB TV Tuner / DVB-T Television / DAB Radio - With Magne" for £9.45 off Amazon too which seemed to be more than adequate.Overall very pleased to buy a well known brand named item for such a low price, which was very simple to install , even to an "oldie" like me!

Good Value
Bought this for the playroom and overall no real complaints. The picture quality is pretty decent, which I guess is the main thing. Sound quality isn't great and you have to be quite precise when pointing the remote at the TV. Overall happy with this TV and does the job I expected.
