Silverline Monobloc Back Nut Tap Spanner 3pce 9 x 11 & 12 x 13mm (719819)

Bought these after seeing other reviews for these box spanners. Very good price and were indispensablein removing my old Monobloc kitchen tap and fitting a replacement. These spanners made the job of removing thetap-securing nut from under the sink so easy. I used a small socket set with a ratchet to fit a socket on thebottom end of the box spanner and had the nut removed in a minute or two. fitting the new tap to the sink toptook the same amazingly short time and saved me having to remove the sink to get to the nut - best £2.75 I havespent in a long time.

Easy to order and get the item online

For something so simple and so ridiculously cheap these are an absolute godsend. As many other people have said if you’re fitting a monobloc tap get some of these. Even if you’re not fitting a monobloc tap get a set of these and then you’ll have them when you need to change your taps. They make life so much easier than any other mechanism for getting to and tightening the 12mm nut that holds the tap on. They’re also about 180mm long which makes it much easier to do the job.

The spaners were of good value but the most used size 6mm was not inclueded in the set so it was usless for me.Most dissapointed.

Another great quality tool from Silverline! It worked perfectly and allowed me to easily remove my old kitchen tap and to fit a new one.I was able to get the tap well secured with no skinned knuckles, with ease!I have also had experience of Silverline's warranty before and I must say there were an excellent company to deal with, they really do stand behind the quality of their tools! I'd definitely recommend treating yourself to one of these sets if you are considering changing a monobloc tap anytime soon!

I used a big nail instead of the leaver. The supplied lever just get in the way, and is so long that it invites ruining your threads.
