Will a hard back school file fit in one of these. The thick folders you use to pop A4 documents in (the bigger ones not slimmer?)?

The bags I ordered measure 17" x 24". Having just had a look, I can easily an A4 box file in one; probably fit two. I could definitely fit two lever arch folders in one bag. The plastic seems to be strong and the adhesive seal is good. I'd happily buy them again.

will the bags hold a shoe box (15in by 11in)?

I sent an average sized Clarkes shoe box in one but don't know the measurements I'm afraid.

There is no indication that these are recyclable. I think you can not recycle these, although you can reuse these bags

Would these fit a boxed ps4?

Mmm not sure about that but they measure 24 inches long x 16 inches wide and are great quality strong bags.
