However if the bag is extended it can easily fit them and there is room for more
So it arrived today and instantly I popped my 3 fishing rods in. The beach rods which are 10ft (2 sections) did not fit and stick out a bit from the top. However if the bag is extended it can easily fit them and there is room for more. Currently I have my tripod, 3 rods and 2 reels inside. Guaranteed I can fit a lot more in there. Great addition to my fishing gear! Bag is very comfortable over the shoulder with all gear inside and feels like it is worth a lot more than I paid for it!

Product is very good but a few flaws that people should be aware of which is why I only gave it 4 stars. In order to stop it from hitting the floor you need to wear it back to front, sadly though the foam area to make it feel comfortable doesn't fit on that side. The other issue is that I thought inside it, it would have individual holes for 6 poles to slide into. That's not the case, so you have to just put the entire rod in its sleeve which isn't a big problem.Would recommend it, definitely a lot easier to carry around than the rods on their own. Feels like it's good quality, sadly my 13.6ft rod (3 piece) was just a tiny bit over the extension otherwise i'd be extremely happy with it if I didn't need to use the extension function but very satisfied there was the option incase you need bigger. However not entirely sure whether it'd fit something like an 18ft rod.

Not for short people !
I bought this to replace a bag without a shoulder strap so I could carry it more easily a mile to where I fish, however due to I use beach rods ...the extending portion of bag needs to be used which is at the bottom....im 5 ft 2 " and the bag just clears the floor unextended on my shoulder...when extended the strap is above my head !! and impossible to use the strap. so really disappointed as rods just about fit in and it's a nice bag with handy pocket. ..but unless you are 6 ft tall im unsure how you could carry this extended bag on your shoulder !!! Unfortunately ill have to return it for this reason only...im too short for this bag ( probably for most other bottom extending bags ?!!!).

Grand for the money
I wanted a quiver that would stop me having to take my rods in Cardura tubes which aren't great if it rains. Also I needed one suitable for both rock fishing and beach casting. I have used it for both and is pretty good however all the reviews have said it before - when extended it is harder to carry etc. Also, I didn't measure so in the shortened position, it does not fit my 2 piece bass rod, its fine for the 3 piece rods. However, I simply strap it onto the side along with the tripod and consider it protected enough. For the money its grand. It is certainly easy way to carry multiple rods and small extending tripod cross the rocks always maintaining one hand free for rock holds.

Bad choice as a gift
Bought this as a Christmas present. It looks OK but too short to take a 2-piece 10' rod. It does extend but then you need to be 6'5" tall to carry it. Husband has vandalised it to make a holder that will suit him & the rod!
