iPad Flipdown Kitchen Mount Stand / Dock with Intergrated Speaker Mount & Tilt / Swivel Bracket - For iPad 2 / 3

I purchased the Flipdown Mount to use in my kitchen.The item arrived quickly, was well packaged with clear instructions.Unfortunately when mounted to the underside of a cupboard it is not possible to flip the iPad into horizontal position out of the way. The design limits you to folding back to around 45 degrees.However, the unit works very well as a counter top mount, and this is how I have decided to use it.The speakers are not hifi quality, but they are better than the internal iPad speakers, and quite acceptable.

Purchased to breathe new life into my old iPad - struggled to find stands for it at this stage - works well, however there is considerable interference on the sound, it may be caused by pins not aligning properly. I have fixe mine under the kitchen cupboards and its ideal for watching videos while cooking or referring to a recipe online.Friends and family have all commented on how good of an idea it is and have asked where I got it.

I do Love this. For the price it's awesome. It looks great, it looks expensive. Yes it does have a little crackle on the speaker, it's not going to be BOSE is it. I find if you have the ipad volume up full and the speaker turned low, rather than the other way round it's not too bad. Yes, it is tight in the case, we'd all complain if it fell down and smashed on the marble worktop if it was loose. For under £15 it is fabulous!

Although I am pleased with the speaker section of this product I found that my iPad 2 was very difficult to get in and out of the case plus the the speaker contact line wouldn't reach the iPad socket so didn't work. Now I just plug the speaker into my iPad in its normal case so the downside to this is my iPad isn't charging at the same time. O.k for me as I really wanted the speaker which was an excellent price compared to others on the market .

If you have an iPad 2/3 this is a fantastic product. However, don't assume it will fit an iPad 1 without a day's grinding and cursing to make it fit.It has, however, given my iPad 1 a new lease of life as the kitchen Sonos controller and recipe finder.
