Great quality is evident
Having used "inexpensive" drills and impact drivers for years using the Makita tools makes me realize that I have been cheating myself. This drill runs smoothly and has much better torque and power than any battery drill I have ever had. I have only used it a few times so I cannot comment on durability, however, I had one of those 9 volt cordless drill that Makita sold back in the 1980's (I think) and it lasted for many years and was only retired when batteries became so expensive. My advice....if you are buying your first set of cordless tools and must commit to one brand of batteries, choose Makita!

FIVE STAR!
Love it. I bought this with a drill & screw driver set. Both are great products. The battery last very very very long time. In fact I only charged it once for almost two years and I still have 3 out five bars. I have assembled plenty of furniture since I moved twice and hanged a bunch of curtains. Buy it and never have to worry about need for a screw driver or drill again.

Great drill
Great product for use around the home. Came with a carrying case (bag with handles and zipper) to hold the drill, battery and charger, but you do have to stuff everything in the bag a bit snug to hold it all. Makita makes a great product and would definitely recommend if looking for a reliable, effective drill.
