This is a great knife! I highly recommend it!!!
This is a great knife! I am not an expert but I do appreciate a quality pocket knife and this is the best one that I have owned. It is sharp out of the box, sharp enough that I had to be cautious handling it. On top of that it is beautiful with the Damascus pattern and hardwood handle. The knife is solid no loose parts and the bearing facilitates smooth yet solid opening, in fact I woke my wife up playing with it in the dark just flicking it open and enjoying the satisfying "CLIKC" of the blade lock which is just right not to stiff but enough to know that the blade is secure. This is an EDC blade for me and size of the blade is just right, enough blade to be functional but not so big as to be bulky clipped to the inside of my front pocket. The weight is also great heavy enough to be solid but not noticeable in my pocket. That brings me to the inset clip which is the only clipped knife that I have that I don't have to pull the clip open with my finger to get it over the lip of my pants or carhart bib pocket and it remains snugly clipped. That is not the best part about the clip when using the knife the clip is literally undetectable to the hand far better than any of my other clipped blades for sure. This blade is a steal for this price I almost want to send them more money out of guilt, Almost, I think I will just buy a few more as gifts for friends and family. The outstanding clip design, finger flick opening and bearing, blade sharpness and knife weight and leather strap make this a great easy to use knife. I find myself looking for opportunities use this beautiful, well made tool. Side note: I did some sharpening and waxed the blade and handle of the knife with food safe wax it all and that really pushed this knife over the top. The tactile feel of the waxed hard wood handle is amazing and the wax protected blade is so sharp that it is almost scary to use and it has held its sharpness with over a week of light use. I definitely recommend this knife.

Great pocket knife with custom leather sheath!
As an avid collector of cutlery, I was in the market for a new pocket knife and there is little to complain about this one. Sharp right out of the packaging. The wood scales are a nice dark finish. Quick release with thumb or finger and locks pretty sturdy. Has a lanyard hole (if that's a requirement for you). Fits very snug in the leather sheath it came with which you can wear vertically or horizontally depending on the belt. It's new leather, so may take a bit to weave it through. Snap closure is sturdy and feels durable. I don't have gigantic hands, but only three fingers keep purchase on the scales, I have larger full tang knives I carry and this was bought to just be a pocket knife. The choil is deep, which is good because there is no gimping on the top of the blade but with some file work can be corrected for my needs. The blade has that distinct Damascus look and feel but it sandwiches steel inside the blade and you may see a faint line along the top. Near the butt of the knife there is a unique pattern. There is no pocket clip nor does there be any preset holes to attach one. Overall, I don't have much to complain about. Good price point, blade came as described and the sheath is perfect. I don't like to purchase a blade without a sheath, personally. I would recommend this to any knife enthusiast looking for a simple yet beautiful EDC knife for simple cutting and tooling.

Amazing knife
Background: I enjoy knives. I usually only buy autos, but needed an edc for chores when I don't want to beat my expensive knives up and/or lose them. Also, this was a "few beers in" purchase, that I wouldn't have normally bought. Product: This knife is great, came relatively sharp, was absolutely beautiful, and after cutting plastic and net wrap off 8 bales, has held its edge well. This is very hard on an edge. I sharpened it tonight, and you can shave with it now. One of my favorite features, and biggest beef with the Kershaw Launch series, is the recessed deep carry clip. I have lost/ caught on something, way to many times with my launch knives due to the clip being to flared at the end. This knife is almost flush, but still easily slides into your pocket. My Carhartt bibs are quite a bit thicker, and still works nicely. The wood is nicely done, flipper action is smooth, but not as good as a Civivi, Damascus blade is beautiful, fits my hand nicely, and extremely well thought out carry clip. I have knives that are 5-8 times the price of this one, and this has been one of my favorite surprise knife purchases to date. I will probably order more for presents for friends and family. Overall one of the best bangs for your buck that I have stumbled across.

Not Damascus
I normally read reviews but don't write them. It's necessary on this knife. It's a very nice knife, super sharp out of the box. I would give 5 starts, except for one thing. IT IS NOT REAL DAMASCUS STEEL. The Damascus pattern is laser etched. It looks very nice, like I said it's a very nice knife and well built, but it is NOT Damascus.

A Fine Wood Handle Knife With No Visible Screws
I am amazed that a knife of this quality can be sold for only around $40. How often do you see a beautifully finished wood handle knife with NO VISIBLE SCREWS in the wood? How did they do that? I wish there were more wood handle knives with totally hidden screws. The wood is nicely framed in polished silver metal, and the substantial blade is real Damascus, and impressively done. This is easily a $150 knife... for about one quarter of that price. My only suggestion for improvement would be the "traffic cone orange" colored backspacer is not a good match for the lovely woodgrain and this needs to be replaced with a black colored backspacer (or brown, or silver, or gray, or ivory,... but not fluorescent orange). Aside from that, this knife a extremely impressive, and quite a bargain.

Great knife
Can't beat this knife for the price. Holds a good edge as well as not bad to sharpen. The pocket clip being recessed into the wood was a nice touch. Worth having

What you need to know
That's four of these aubey Damascus folders I have purchased recently two from Amazon two from temu they are for all I can tell the exact same knife except for the ones I got from Amazon I got for half the price i paid on Temu and in two days instead of two or three weeks. Going forward from here I believe I will making all of my knife purchases from Amazon. As for these particular knives they are really inexpensive for the quality that you're getting it's a nice good Damascus pattern with the vg10 core beautiful knife to look at I've got one with the aluminum handle one with the wood handle and two with the abalone shell handle. For the price I don't believe you can get a better knife then these you can spend more if you like I have, but I don't believe you can get better value for your price than one of these. You don't need a picture because you get exactly what you look at in the product description. So if you're contemplating one of these, definitely pull the trigger you'll be happy you did. Trust me

Nice looking though it does have a lot of pink in the Abalone
Sharp knife, but pretty hard to open and not so sharp. I got the black aluminum version of this same knife and it’s easy to open and extremely sharp, guess I was unlucky with this Abalone version. It was also cracked around one of the small screws as if it was tightened too much causing the shell to crack. I know it’s a nice knife as the aluminum one is great, I really like it. The Abalone was beautiful, has a lot of pink to it. These knives are very comfortable to hold with nice balance.
