Prone to rusting
Bought a second one, which was a bad decision. The bottom seed holder rusted badly just after 4 months. Contacted the Seller; was advised the rust guarantee is 30 days. Not appropriate for an item wich is meant for the outdoors.Looks great when new, but not worth the money with the serious rust issue.

Whimsical, Cute & Rust-Proof Feeder
This mesh bird feeder was absolutely adorable once it arrived and seen in person. It holds well black oil sunflower seeds and safflower seeds but cannot hold smaller seeds. Also, I fill it with peanuts hearts but they have to be unshelled, unsalted, unsmoked, and unseasoned to avoid poisoning the birds. Another option is to fill it with suet pellets for birds. The new feeder is a big attraction to our winter birds. I like the design ... it adds interest to the bird feeder collection. I have many birds that love to pull the seeds out while hanging upside down but I added sticks that just weave through the open spaces for those birds that need to perch. Really adorable and fun to watch!!! I love the box/package design of the product it makes it perfect and practical for a gift. This one is a winner!

Perfect
When I first got this, the birds seemed unsure, but I left it up and after five days of tentatively inspecting it, the birds started using it. It doesn’t stop the starlings, however because of the mesh, they can’t go through it like a dose of salts anymore, this ensures the smaller birds get to eat plenty too. I use the large suet pellets which the birds love and they stay in really well…be warned it holds a lot, but it lasts a while even with the starlings….very happy with it

Great!
Wow! It's really strong! Absolutely squirrel proof after a little adjustment. The top was a little loose and those cheeky squirrels (got to love them) worked out how to take it off! So I pinched the metal tighter and job done. Now It's the squirrels fort Knox!

Practical bird feeder
It works!! The birds can eat, the squirrels cannot haha. I have watched them try and fail. Easy to clean. And I like very much that the top part stays in the tree and the mesh part can be removed and refilled with ease meaning that I am not bruising the leaves of my apple tree every time it needs refilling. Nuts last a lot longer when it is only the birds eating them. Thank you

Cute, Easy To Clean bird Feeder
Really cute, easy to clean (important as birds get ill from dirty feeders) and like the wide lid to protect the seeds etc from the weather. Although were I live I must admit the rains have come from all sides so still does get wet. I was worried at first as I purchased it to place sunflower seeds in, and it was a bit tricky to get them to all stay in, but it can be done and I love seeing the birds able to pull whole or part broken sunflower seeds from the feeder.

Seed falls through the wire mesh!
One star because it looks well but is useless for seed. I buy hulled sunflower seeds, which is one of the biggest size seed for birds and they just fall through.I think the only thing it would be useful for is nuts.

Very good quality.
Very good quality bird feeder, but the birds don't seem to like it. I put it on my bird feeder station 3 weeks ago, and not a single bird has used it. It does look very nice though.
