Excellent mould that creates 8 Harry Potter-style chocolate frogs. The official Harry Potter branded chocolate frogs are outrageously priced, come as a single frog wrapped in a foil or in an even more expensive box.With this mould you can create a large batch of chocolate frogs, great for birthday treats at school or Potter-themed parties. Moreover creating your own frogs allows you to include your own favourite chocolate flavours. Apparently the mould can also be used for soaps, plaster.This mould is also priced at a fraction of the official Harry Potter Chocolate frog mould, that is presented in more attractive packaging but comes with fiddly DIY frog boxes. Now, paper/cardboard templates for pentagonal Potter frog boxes can be easily found through any search engine. We printed 22 of these, created a similar amount of chocolate froggies so that our Potter-obsessed daughter could bring in a very attractive looking class treat for her birthday.The mould, that came at a reasonable price, is made of fairly sturdy transparent plastic. And it arrived just sealed in plastic in a padded envelope. The resulting frogs are nicely shaped, with a fair amount of detail. They are, slightly bigger than I expected, about 6 cm each in length and 3.5 cm in width.It's quite easy to create the chocolate frogs; melt you preferred chocolate flavour , just and pour it in the mould. Then tab the mould gently on your kitchen top a number of times to allow the tiny air bubbles in the frog eye and other raised parts to float up and escape. We usually leave the mould in the fridge for 90 minutes or so for the chocolate to harden. When taking it out; turn it upside down and if the frog don't fall out themselves gently tab again on the kitchen top with the mould.There is a warning not to put the mould in an oven over 140 degrees and it’s also not recommendable to put it in the dishwasher. Even so, we’re pretty pleased.

Really good! It's a bit flimsy looking and I was a bit worried when it first arrived but it works great, the chocolates came out easily and the mould didn't break like I was worried it would! I lined each mould with a tiny brushing of oil before I poured in the chocolate to make sure it didn't stick which I think helped. But the frogs came out looking pretty good, and with practice I'm sure I'll be able to make them look really neat. Great for making Harry Potter chocolate frogs! I recommend mixing a bit of dark chocolate in with the milk chocolate when you temper it so it doesn't burn as easily. Delivery was super quick, arrived a week before estimated delivery and all the way from America too!

The media could not be loaded.  Make sure you use a little oil to line the moulds so chocolates slide out easily. We melted tesco chocolate orange for Dairy free option. It was delicious.

A little smaller than I thought, but regardless they came in perfect condition and were ready to use immediately.
