Letraset ProMarker Student Designer Set (24 Colours and Wallet)

This was my first ever purchase of Promarkers. I wanted to colour in rubber stamped images and I had seen these recommended in craft magazines etc... I decided going for this big set first would be the best way to go, as it gives me a good colour selection to start off with, plus the case to store them in. Upon receiving my order, I proceeded to try them out, and they did not disappoint! I am really impressed with the results that can be achieved with these pens, they are perfect! Even as a beginner to marker blending, it was easy to figure out how to get a shaded effect with them. I just wish I had bought some sooner. I guess I had been put off before because of the prices, but I have found they are well worth the investment! Even a more simple image coloured with these pens can give your work a more professional look. The case is really nice, too. Very handy to keep the pens safe and together. I have already ordered more of the markers and another case! I highly recommend them!

Best buy I have made in a while! I have looked at the very expensive version of these. An by all account they are fantastic however for the price... well I can actually afford them! I would recommend buying this set as you get a great selection of colours. May I suggest also looking into a light grey and a light caucasian skin tone. There is no grey in this set and the skin tone is a lil too pink for my taste.What's great about these is you can keep adding layers to the colours, so if you get a light colour you can just keep adding to it.Also look up how to refill these, all you need is some high grade alcohol (chemist stuff is 80%<) you just use a pipette (for ease) to pour it in and any dry pens will come back to life!!I have a set of Staedtler fine tips but you could never blend theme. These actually do!

A really good selection of starter colours, though I would have liked if a black was included. The travel case is really handy and stores the pens neatly. Some pens seem to run out quite quickly or don't fully work from the beginning so this is frustrating, and they almost always bleed through the paper onto the other side so it's hard to use them for sketchbook work without making a bit of a mess. Other than this they're nice to use and the double ends are useful.

This set has a great amount of colours and as a fashion designer I was looking for some pens for designing purposes but I can't say I've really benefited from them or used them much, I had the skin tone set as well and luckily I was able to fit those extra shades into this container but they run way too much. They show through the thickest sketchbook paper/card and as someone that designs on layout paper, they smudge a lot. Who knows if I'll use them again further down the line but for now I'm gonna stick to some simple watercolours.I'm still unsure whether I like these pens, including the skin tone set which I purchased separately as the colours were rather limited and some seemed a bit off.

Previously I have bought ProMarker pens separately to test them out and after having bought 5 already I decided I wanted a large set with all the colours. I was not disappointed! This set contains all the shades I could possibly need (except grey tones and black) in a strong and very handy case. It keeps them tidy and safe and it is very easy to take the pens out of the case and put them back. I love it! The pens themselves last for ages and although they can bleed a bit in some papers, they leave behind a solid colour with no traces of the trails of the pen in an area. I would highly recommend this set!

Beautiful markers which make for great colouring when doing comic strips or anime. You can blend the colours out and build up for more colour pay off.They take some time to get use to. First time using I found I was applying too much pressure and going over the same areas too often but with practise you learn how to control the pens.

The set of Promarkers is very good. However, one of them (yellow) had it's top off and was bone dry. Despite two e-mails to the company I have had no reply. The product is good, however customer service is not so good.

This item was purchased as a present for a teenager and the reaction was fantastic. My niece is very happy with this set. Also - it was delivered to ROI quicker than expected.
