Rimmel London Stay Matte Foundation, 200 Soft Beige, 30ml

I ordered this late Thursday night and it arrived on Saturday morning with the free standard delivery. I couldn't wait to try it out and it was a fantastic product. The foundation is really thick and creamy in texture and I applied with my beauty blender. I quickly realized that it goes on much more flawlessly if you pat it on rather than rub it in. It gave excellent coverage, covering the slight scarring on my cheek and the small spots I have. It even covered the dark circles under my eyes and I didn't need to use concealer which is a first. When I first applied it it felt heavy and sticky but dried in to a fine powdery finish very quickly and I could barely feel it on my skin, even better it didn't rub of during the day and it stayed for ten hours without reapplication. The matte effect is quite gorgeous and doesn't look like heavy make-up. I used the light porcelain as I'm very pale and it matched my skin tone wonderfully, managing to blend with my colouring and give me a slightly healthier glow at the same time. Astounding by this product and I will be buying this foundation religiously from now on.

Really impressed with this foundation. I have been looking for a good coverage one for a while, tried so many makes (including more expensive ones, such as MAC) and they've done an okay job but not quite to my satisfaction. I found myself having to use quite a lot to get decent coverage on some days. I've also found some to be oily and not staying on the skin well. So it hight I'd give this a try as it seemed to have good reviews and I can honestly say its the best foundation I've used in I don't know how many years! I buy two shades I every foundation I buy as I like to tan myself but I'm naturally pale - that way I can go from pale to tanned and anywhere in between on whatever day I am in my tanning cycle haha. Sometimes the colours don't completely match my tone. Again, this foundation does that perfectly. I bought ivory and beige and mixed them up as I'm a light tan at the moment, and it looks lovely and my skin looks flawless, despite having a few spots! I will definitely be using this product as long as it is out!

I have oily combination skin and been struggling to find a foundation that doesn't slide of my face or go patchy in the middle of the day...i was apprehensive at first as it looked a very small tube for £6, but I persevered and bought it anyway. When it came it wasn't actually as small as I thought, its very thick so you only need a very very small bit. I use a damp beauty blender to apply and it goes on flawlessly and covers all acne, redness and marks on the skin, you do have to blend a lot because its very thick. I'm incredibly pale and the colour was perfect for me. I've used this for several months now and only on my second tube and I wear it daily. Its so good not one bit of caking or melting of the face what so ever. After running after a hyper two year old all day it doesn't budge or show oil at all. It is very matte so if you don't like that look I wouldn't recommend it. My new go to foundation, love love love it!

As a regular makeup user I have tried many many different foundations in search of the perfect item for me. This has definitely come the closest so far! If you are looking for a full coverage mousse foundation look no further. This goes on very easily and is almost fool proof whether using fingers, a brush or a sponge. The tones are very true to expectations as with most Rimmel products. Of all the foundations I have tried (and there have been quite a few!) both cheaper and more expensive this one lasts the longest. This is a very heavy coverage foundation ( not heavy to wear at all) so you only need a tiny bit. The packaging is perfect and not overly pretentious like some other brands. Because it is a soft container, it is easy to cut the end off and get out the last little bit should you wish to. Highly recommended - better than some products 2 or 3 times the price

Good stuff

I've been using this product for years and was really annoyed when the high street stores took it off the shelves. It is the best foundation I have ever used for full coverage and a great shade - I'm so thankful to be able to get it here. It far surpasses all the big brands. I recently bought Il Makiage and it doesn't even compare to this.

I'm using it with a beauty blender but even so the finish the first time reminded me a little bit of girls from school in the 90s with caked-on foundation. It's very thick, so I recommend using use only *very* little in a layer to build it up gradually - not something I'm used to having to do (I used a runny Wet n Wild one before for a few years), and that takes longer. It's not awful but I probably won't buy again - it was worth trying out a different product. I have temperamental skin but this has got on very well with it and caused no problem at all.

Alta cobertura y un resultado muy bueno. Si tienes la piel seca se marcan algunas pieles muertas pero para pieles grasas 10 de 10. Durabilidad muy buena y buenísima cobertura sin resultar pesada.
