CellDeal Replacement Kitchen Sink Strainer Waste Plug Chrome On Stainless Steel

This item sink strainer arrived very fast and when put together is almost like my original one that I had.It does the job and has a good weight to it unlike the previous one bought from Amazon which was very flimsy and had no weight nor did the job, I guess you get what you pay for and this particular item I would recommend.

I sometimes gets pushed down without me wanting it to be. It doesn't lift very high for draining and the knob is a little high so the washing up bowl catches it and pushes it down easily. my old sink this never happened because the plug had to be popped down firmly. It does seal the sink and catch debry. The price is acceptable but I will be looking for something better that doesnt seal down when I dont want it too hence the middle score.

Good but cheaper than the one it is replacing- very light. It does do the job and looks good

The plugs/strainers supplied with my ceramic sinks all failed to seal, which meant soaking of any items was impossible as the water would drain away. I looked at various options and these appeared to be the better ones as the whole of the base is rubber and, I did not know the precise dimensions of my sink waste. I ordered one to start with and that worked a treat, so I ordered two more to fit all my kitchen and utility sinks. They seal perfectly and I am very satisfied.

Stops the water from draining but does not fit properly around rim leaving a gap for any particles of food to escape.

Unfortunately it didnt work for me my sink has a device to lift the plug but this has a short stump and is ideal for manually lifting it open or closed. I cannibalized it and using the seal my old one works perfectly.

I was a unsure about ordering this as there seemed to be numerous parts similar to fit a Howden’s Lamona kitchen sink, but with varying reports. However, we really needed to replace the one we had, as the centre disc had cracked. I’m pleased to say this fitted really well and keeps a nice tight seal to keep the water in the sink. Would definitely order another!

At last I've found a replacement for the one in my Howden's Lamona sink. Howden's don't carry the strainer as a spare, they supply the whole unit for approximately 4 times the price of this one. Be aware that Lamona sinks also have another type of strainer with a metal insert. This one has a wholly rubber seal so check yours first. It's worth noting that delivery was also very quick.
