Brilliant Machine to own...
The DeWalt DC618KB XRP Nail gun was one of the biggest purchases I have ever made in my life. As I do a lot of my own DIY, this nail gut made mince meat of manual tasks. I have just lined my porch way with v-lining red wood and assembled this in minutes as compared to using a hammer and punch which would have taken me days. The holes made from the nails are miniscule as compared to punching in brad nails by hand where one often slips off the bard nail making for larger holes to fill in. A truely wonderful piece of kit to have and I wish I had bought this years ago - Brilliant machine, easy to use and once you get used to it (in minutes), you just cannot leave it alone. One tip is to varnish the wood first, then afterwards when filling in the holes is to use a slightly damp sponge and just lightly wipe off excess off - produces a smoother, cleaner finish.

Worked and worked and worked. Built my shed with it and am very impressed. A bit heavy, and only uses thin nails - and hard woods are a challenge for it. I tend now to design things around being able to use it! (Sad, I know, but I bet I'm not the first.)

This is a ,good nailer as the Brand would suggest with the only real disappointment being the price and fact that the battery is the old fashioned type and not lithium ion. Nailer is well balanced and was right up there with the better ones but being overtaken now by the new ones coming on the market from other brands . Nails are very expensive and I use other ones of same spec at half the price which work a treat .One of quite a collection of nailers I have .

Awesome gun
Had one of these about 5 years ago. Only just started selling them. Was a great piece of kit. Then my lock up got broken in to and it was stolen. Ended up buying the paslode. Big mistake. It didn't like the cold, was loud, half the time didn't fire. Not good.Got fed up with it and bought this one again. What a great nail gun. 63mm nails straight in to oak with no problems. Rapid fire is great for skirting as well. Can't fault it.Also got free delivery and arrived 2 days later.

you can do magic, magic baby
what can i say but its the batteries that let this wonderful tool down, hence the 4 stars.i have used it for wood flooring, door linings and its fantastic. its no wonder the Germans won the cup. Old Blighty used to be good at this kind of gear; remember the victorians, but we have long lost it.

Very Good
Great finishing nailer, easy to load and no messing with gas as on the paslode. Solid build with a soft head leaving no marks and comes with 2 batteries and carry case.
