Gutted - please read and understand why :)
Bought this a while ago. However, I've been putting that on hold for a while till I bought some Tefal Ingenio - but BEFORE I fit that frame up, I start to realise that the lid will NOT hold in place because Tefal Lid has a butterfly lid which folds flat or lift up to pick up. - I'd rate 5 stars in total but its kinda my fault for not thinking of that Tefal Lids.Storage Capacity - 2-stars cos I have no lids resting there, all fell through if I attempt to try - so I can't use it.Durability - No idea, but it does look sturdy but dunno how strong it is - so 3-stars for 50/50.Value for money - 5-stars because I still think it's a good price.

Four screws into the wood and its up and running.

Not for kitchen unit door
I misinterpreted the information and wanted to screw this on the inside of a kitchen cupboard door. The screws provided were far to long for this. However, we found that the cupboard door would not shut with it on anyway as it was not slim enough to avoid bumping the internal shelf. This was surprising as I assume most people would have shelves to maximise storage space. This item is sturdy and the lids do fit in well but it’s only really suitable to be fixed in a cupboard with no shelf (as long as you find your own smaller screws) or onto a wall.

Good product but...
...ordering of the lids might need to be adjusted if you have many different sized lids. This will make the lids stack better and be easier to access. It was easy to install, though I had to bend one of the brackets slightly to make it a better fit for our lids. We have various sizes so we wanted to accommodate all the lids in this one unit.

Great storage solution
Great to keep lids out of way, could do with one of these made for lids with “D” shape handle as dip in wire does not Theo those lids sit. But over all very handy and secure.

Good product
Very good idea, good quality materials, little bit tight, lids can catch one another during pulling out and putting in

NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE
At £12.99 this rack should be a properly functioning, tried and tested product but is it ? The illustration shows 5 pan lids neatly placed in the rack and one would logically assume that each lid could be inserted and removed with ease but can they ? Not so I'm afraid !I myself have 5 lids but can only store 3 (alternately placed) with ease, by which I mean being able to insert and remove without clashing into adjacent lids. If I use either of the 2 vacant slots the lids clash both on insertion and removal so it's a two-handed operation rather than one (one hand to hold the adjacent lid clear, one hand to insert or remove). In addition : The fixing screws are too small to secure a rack of this weight and the top holes are directly in line with a horizontal member so you not only need a long shaft screwdriver but are also obliged to screw at a crooked angle rather than straight. This product appears to have been badly designed in the first place and more importantly, not 'tried and tested' properly before distribution. If Taylor & Brown (there is also a logo for Taylor & Murphy on the packaging) are unhappy with this review they should meticulously check out my comments for themselves. If I'm mistaken I'll gladly re-review the product but if correct this company should instruct their designers to experiment with a new set of prototypes and select one fit for purpose before manufacture and distribution.

Good Rack
This is a well made rack and works perfectly for saucepan lids. It appears to be designed more around the knob style than the handle style and for the less deep lid. As a result I can only get 4 out of the 5 lids I have to fit. But getting 4 off the cupboard shelf and into the rack makes it worthwhile.
