Mamas & Papas Once Upon a Time Bumper

I really like this bumper, its neutral and not covered in bright colors or bright colored animals. I do love the 4 velour animals that do decorate it though. My only complaints are that the ties are a little too short for the corner posts and the top rails, and the bumpers are a tiny bit too short for my crib. If you have a crib with narrow posts the ties will work just fine, but if your crib has posts that are 2in long or more the ties on this bumper will barely fit around it. For mine, the ties wrapped around the corner posts (barely!) and I couldn't get them over the top rails on the longer sides of the crib so they have to be on the slats which ends up not being as safe as my baby could potentially kick it down in the center because of this. I managed to clip it over the rail with a diaper safety pin so it stays up, but the back rail of my crib is much wider and taller and the ties in no way reach around it. I may sew extensions onto the ties to ease my mind and make it safer for my baby not to kick them down. The other complaint is that the bumper is a very tiny bit too short to cover the entire length and width of the crib posts. It ends up with a gap about 1/2 an inch between two bumpers where they converge at the corner. However, with the ties pulled tight it is barely noticeable, I just wonder if my baby could still get his foot caught in the corner because of it; this problem actually could be corrected if the ties were longer, giving me more fabric to pull the knot tight and close the gap. Over all though, I love this bumper, its padded well, and has a very cute but plain design that is also gender neutral.The box however, arrived at USPS in a very damaged state, USPS had to tape it back together so it would survive the next transport. It was so bad I'm surprised it didn't fall out of the box. That may or may not be the fault of the seller though.I bought this item myself and did not receive it as a promotion for a review.

I am soooo much satisfied with my order. It is just the same color as it is in the picture. The texture is very nice. Although the texture looks rough, in reality, it is very soft and comfy. My baby is 7 months, I didnt have a bumper, but now, when I left her in the crib to play, she moves so much and I am afraid she will hert herself by the crib, thats why I choose to buy a bumper set. Now I am fine about my choice of Mamas&Papas bumper. I had a Mamas&Papas blanket as well a bunny and they look so nice together , you can see the pics. One more important thing, it is something I can use for a long time , and I prefer unisex colors, this one was perfect for me. Recommend it for sure.

Perfect for the room I decorated... was looking for a nice neutral bumper to go around my granddaughters crib because I didn't realize bumpers did not come with the bedding I purchased. Nice quality, not super thick but look nice. Washed them up and they came up great.

Adorable and works for both genders

The bumper looks just like the picture. Has very nice details and finishes. The colors are soft, ideal to give a peaceful atmosphere to the baby's room.
