after looking around for a nice case for my P9 I came to realise that there aren't that many nice options. I was thinking a wooden case perhaps but really i couldn't find one that i liked and that would have been practical. For a previous similar phone i had one with a flap but found it annoying. at the same time i wanted something to protect my screen. anyway, long story short, i went for this one after looking at every single other case available for the P9. I've had it for a few months now and it's great. it's subtle and doesn;t add too much bulk to the phone. it's sturdy and the raised edge around the screen offer enough protection. finger scan works flawlessly with the case. I dropped it a few times and all is good, case works well and looks good. makes the phone a little less slippery (without the case it can be very slidey and easily slip out of your pocket).To sum up, I think I really found the best possible case for this phone after looking at all the other options available. was even considering a handmade leather pouch which would have looked amazing i'm sure but wouldn't have been practical. because really you have your phone in your pocket, u put you hand in there, finger on scanner and by the time you have the screen in front of you to see it will have unlocked. pouch or flap would slow this down a fair bit.

Don't get me wrong, I'm an office worker and careful, so I don't need the ultimate in protection for my phone. Nevertheless, I find Spigen cases offer enough protection and fit well. This was my second (for different phone models. I'm now on my third after a subsequent upgrade), and if I change phone, I hunt down a Spigen case for it.Enough said.

My first Spigen case. It is made of a material that is rubbery enough to give a good grip without feeling too tacky, and gives good protection to the phone. It is a tight fit, without being difficult to put on. The phone doesn't rattle around or gather pocket lint inside the case, as I've had with some other brands. The edge protrudes about 2mm above the screen, protecting it from scratches from grit when placed face down on a surface. This does make the phone somewhat thicker, but it still looks smart and stylish. The buttons still work fine, and the cut-outs are all in the right places. I've not had any problems plugging in USB or headphone cables through the cutouts, or using the fingerprint sensor. All in all it does exactly what I need.

Best case I've come across for the P9.The Spigen offers great protection, the rubber thick enough to absorb impact and the front lip high enough to ensure that the screen is elevated and not scratched on most day-to-day surfaces (meaning I could finally remove a dreadful screen protector).And at the same time as being solid in build, it maintains the P9's sleek and thin design. It maintains a low enough profile for it to make little to no difference when the phone is in my pocket, and looks great on top of it all.I'd definitely recommend picking one up. I've tried a few ways to protect my P9, ranging from numerous different other cases and skins (which it turns out I can't stand) to several screen protectors on a bare phone - the Spigen is by far my favourite solution.

Received the case in 2 working days to Dublin, Ireland. The case fits my P9 perfectly and has all the correct opening for charger, headphones, fingerprint pad and camera. The volume and screenlock buttons are also easy to use as the case covers them with embossed buttons. The case looks really well and provide decent protection. I haven't dropped my phone since but I'm not sure if it would hold up against a 4-5 foot drop on to concrete. I also purchase a screen protector and with the case I feel it gives perfect protection. Overall I would rate the case 8.5/10.

Good looking case with grippy feel. My only concern is that I had to remove my screen protector because the case wraps right around the edge of the phone, pushes up against the edge of the screen protector and causes it to bow fractionally. As a result, screen taps at the edges don't register. I hope that the extra wrap around of the case will offer the screen some protection. It stands proud of the front of the screen so this ought be the case.

A very good quality case. Gives me a lot more peace of mind as I had the ceramic edition of the Huawei P9, and just didn't trust myself enough to use it out and about without some sort of protection on it. Easy to put on and take off. Had a couple of drops with it and whilst I'm no expert, I'm quite certain the case has saved the phone from breaking. In particular like that the lip comes up and over the front of the phone, so even if it ends up face down on a flat surface, the front of the phone will not be in contact with the ground. I think it offers very reliable protection.

Pretty good! Fits really well and looks really, really good. But I'm not convinced how much protection this would give if the phone was dropped though....? Some, but unlikely enough to live up to the "Rugged Armour" description. I'd have maybe liked to seen some thicker skin at the corners at the expense of it looking and feeling so tidy. But if you're looking for a good looking flexible case that adds a bit of protection without getting in the way of the phones function, I can recommend this.
