This set works great, but as others have said, the pads tend to travel, especially if you have textured drum heads at an angle. I didn't go to the hardware store, but I used some paper binder clips to hold them in place on the rims. Eh, good enough. The snare wire mute is a nice addition, super useful. I'm using this with a Ludwig Element Evolution with a crash, hi-hat, and ride, and it comes with enough pads for all of them that fit perfectly. In theory, probably enough for two crashes if you don't sandwich one in between your hats. Just be aware that the bass drum mute requires you to stick some little bits of Velcro to your bass drum head. Overall, insane value for the price. I can now practice drumming without hearing protection if I want to.

Are you a drummer? Do your pesky neighbors keep complaining that you are interrupting their sleep while you’re trying to rock out to your favorite jams? Worry no more! These mutes have a great grip and mute the drums without sacrificing too much tone. I do wish it allowed a bit more resonance from the cymbals, but these things still work great. They suprised me for as cheap as they are. Takes maybe 2 minutes to get set up and the bulk of that time is just removing wing nuts from the cymbals! Great investment

Got these for my daughter’s kit and when I took them out of the box I knew they were going to sound awful. I was right. They definitely quiet down the kit. They also take away most of the tonal sounds. I will end up replacing them for better ones.

These are really nice. The ones I owned before were hard rubber but these from Eastrock are actually a neoprene material and much better than the hard rubber ones. The cheaper versions can easily mar the drum heads but these neoprene mute pads from Eastrock will definitely not mar or damage the drum heads at all. Bonus- you get a set of sticks in the package too. These are really easy to set up. If you live in an apartment complex or have neighbors close by like we do, you need something like this and maybe even quiet/ silent cymbals also. These don’t bounce on the drum heads and there’s some adhesive for the bass pedal and some holes to pin the mute pads to the cymbals. They’re about 1/8” thick and provide enough coverage and also have some decent rebound. The cheap rubber ones had the worst dead thud to them on top of marring the heads and these do not do that. I do see a bit of bounce on the floor tom if you strike it too hard, otherwise they stay in place fairly well.

I picked up these eastrock drum mute pads so I can get some practice in while others are in the house watching tv or doing other things that the drums would disrupt.These dramatically reduce the noise levels making playing no problem no matter what's going on. The sizes in the kit don't quite match my set but they still work fine as I have 12 and 13in toms and this is for 10 and 12in. It still mutes them just fine.The bass mute rattles quite a bit making it annoying. Needs the velcro around the edges closer or something. I'll figure it out. That is the reason for 4 and not 5stars.The included sticks are fine, just not what I use but still good to practice with.All in all, I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend to others looking for a way to quiet down your drums or if you've got a drummer in the house you need to quiet down a bit.

Love these pads. It will not make it silent but it drops the sound quite a bit. Unless tou get a practice pad by itself then i recommend these.

Works good enough. Require a bit of trouble shooting. Really wish it came flat packed but it came with a set of decent sticks so hard to complain!

Not happy with these. To this day almost a year later they are still curled up! And just fall off the toms 🤣 they are good sound wise just need to sort the way they are packed
