Such an interesting read on the life of someone closely connected to the rolling stones, the yardbirds, magma and others! Any fan of the rock n roll era will love this.

Being an avid rock reader and knowing a bit about gomelsky I was really looking forward to reading this book. The problem I gather is that it was originally in French (?) and translated but not very well so it reads very badly which is a shame. Also the story of GG is not balanced with some interesting parts just mentioned. It’s well meaning and from the heart but in the end amateurish and clunky and a missed opportunity which is a shame

I didn't know who Giorgio Gomelsky was before I heard about this book but he had a hell of a life which made for a great book! Could not put it down.

This was a great read - a fascinating biography on the original manager of the Rolling Stones and the yardbirds. Gomelsky did so much for the rock n roll era - he kicked off the careers of so many bands of the sixties London scene. Would highly recommend!

Beyond the crispy backstage stories, the career and the person of Giorgio Gomelsky is a great lesson for Life.A great read, I recommend to everyone!

The Stones and the Yardbirds were the soundtrack for the 60's generation and it was amazing to meet through this book, the man who orchestrated so much of the evolution of the new mood of living in colour after the black-and-white years of post-war deprivation and self-denial.Francis Dumaurier is an ideal biographer for is close friend Giorgio Gomelsky, having shared so much with him for so many years and having carefully researched the years when he was not there."For Your Love" is an important piece of sociological as well as musical history,
