Great features
I have several Mr beams products and they are generally excellent. This light is obviously not as bright as the MB390, but it also has a cooler/slightly more blue tint to the LED which is similar to the MB360.The remote works up to 25m if you have line of sight, less if you don't. Holding it facing away from you, upside down with your hand at the bottom seems to give the best range! If you change the batteries it resets your settings and goes back to low brightness, motion=on.Sometimes you have to press the buttons on the remote for around 1 second to make it activate. You can link multiple lights to a single remote and trigger them together, but the lights don't always both activate and may require a couple of presses to get them both on. If you long-press it seems more likely to work first time.Even though it has some annoyances it's still really versatile and very handy. Grab some rechargeable AAs and AA to D converters and you don't have to worry about leaving it on for too long. The main advantage of this light over others is that you can leave it on (for up to 4 hours) and manually turn it on/off.

Didn't Work!
This product doesn't work as it should. About once every 3 days when I switch it on, it will not switch off again, even if I walk to the shed at the end of the garden with the remote control and press the button while standing right in front of it. the only way to get it working again is to go up a ladder, take it down, remove the batteries, put them back in and remount it on the wall. After a few times doing this I have given up. The light stayed on for around 10 days until the batteries finally died.Total waste of money, a bit flimsily made for the price, certainly not worth the price I paid, probably should be in the £12 to £15 range, if it actually worked. I want to return it, but the site says the return window is closed. Seems like a one month warranty, thought on items like this it would be one year. I would like the seller to get in touch to arrange a refund.

Great little light!
Bought this for peace of mind and extra security in our new, rented house. As I'm restricted to running mains wiring, etc., due to the house being rented, this great little light is not to be confused with the cheap 'superbright' multi led lights. Whilst obviously not as bright as a mains powered unit, the single led is easily bright enough to light our outside yard during darkness. Works well, as described, and has an additional deterrent as people have also confused this unit for a security camera. All seems to work fine up to now and if I get half of the expected battery life I'll be happy. Installed, up and running in ten minutes including drilling a couple of small holes in the wall to mount. A little expensive perhaps, but miles apart from the cheaper, similar lights which really aren't up to much functionally and with much less light output.Have now also bought the Mr Beams ceiling light for the front porch - also a nice little unit which works very well! Thanks Mr Beams

Not mad about this. The light isn't that bright ...
Not mad about this. The light isn't that bright and it seems to switch back to on all the time and I have to take the batteries out and re-set it. I used up the batteries quite quickly, but haven't bothered to replace them as its not really worth it. Disappointing to be honest and I'm not picky usually.

Must be a faulty one
Never got it to work properly so it's sat in a poly bag since but I'll take it apart for the led at some point. I bought to light up the front of the house as we drove up, reversed and didn't blind too many neighbours by the automated types. It is very bright when you wire it up directly.

Poor light output.
The light output is poor. Nothing like the video on the Seller's page. It's a pity because it's a well made product and there are very few remote control battery powered outdoor lights on the market.

It does what it says and the remote is great but not very large spread of light - I think I was exspecting too much for a battery light but will make good use of it in a smaller area.

You are absolutely better off with a good old torch
Bought it for my bathroom shower cubicle, not bright enough. So decided to use it for the shed, but again the light is not bright enough. You are absolutely better off with a good old torch. The photos of the product here or in the website are not a true representative of reality. You surely cannot play football or basketball under this light. The remote is temperamental.
