It smells nothing like rose
If I could give negative stars I would. This is a swindle Don’t buy. It smells nothing like rose, - it is easily the most disgusting ‘pure’ oil I have ever encountered. It has a smell more like musk and a million miles away from anything that could be called ‘floral’ I thought the price would guarantee quality but it doesn’t A very expensive mistake as it cannot be returned.

Horrible & sickly, doesn't smell like true rose absolute
My sister bought me a bottle of this from Amazon for Christmas after I sent her a link to this supplier. I was reassured by all the wonderful reviews but after smelling it in real life I'm truly surprised by all the positivity about this product - it's horrible! It's a very sickly almost synthetic smelling rose which is more like a cheap generic insence than a genuine rose absolute smell. I've had Rose absolute oil by Tisserand before and smelt other high quality rose oils, all of which were lovely (and expensive!) but this, if you know what rose really smells like, will disappoint you. I dabbed the tiniest amount on my hand and the smell irritated me all day and when it faded it smelt like generic cheap insence. I thought I should give it a chance so I waited until I got home and tried a couple of drops in my water vapouriser. It made me feel so sick I had to unplug it and throw the water away. Needless to say I won't be using this product again. The cost for the quantity should have been a warning sign - good quality rose oil is not this cheap!
