It’s cheap and tacky
It’s not that good. The hinge is supposed to be a two-part hinge so that the two sides will sit parallel to each other with a gap (the thickness of a piece of bread). But only one bit of the hints works, this means it squashes the bread between the two sides. When the toast comes out, it is welded to one side and you can only get your toast out by ripping it apart.

okay, but doesn't lay flat
Does the job. The two pieces of the toaster aren't flush, so unless it's hung up, it won't lay flat

ok for the price but a little smaller than I expected and not quite of the quality I expected. I returned it and paid £10 more for the original AGA product.
