Very thin leather, more costume quality than leather that will hold up to normal wear. My grandson picked this out for himself. While he did get several compliments on the look and style, one of the pockets got caught on something and it easily tore. I have mended it for now. It was a learning experience for him on learning about leather quality. I would recommend it for someone who is looking for a very lightweight leather coat as fashion statement, AND for a person who is very gentle with their clothing.

Waterproof, lustrous, and slick. It does have that PVC/imitation leather smell however. It keeps you completely dry and protected from the elements.

Nice jacket, fit well, buttons are a little cheap, but those could be replaced. Bought as a fall/winter jacket, very thin. I suspect it is meant to be a costume, not for regular use.
