EBL 16pcs 2800mAh Ni-MH Rechargeable AA Batteries, High Capacity AA Battery with Batteries Storage C
These rechargeable AA batteries have been a reliable addition to my household gadgets. Their high capacity means they last longer between charges, which is a huge plus for devices like remote controls and wireless keyboards. The included storage cases are a thoughtful touch, keeping everything organized and easy to find. Charging them is straightforward, and they hold their charge well over time. However, I did notice that they take a bit longer to recharge compared to some other brands I've used. Also, the initial cost is a bit higher, but considering their longevity, it's a worthwhile investment. Overall, these batteries have made life a bit easier, reducing the need for constant replacements and cutting down on waste.

Excellent quality be aware of the thickness
Excellent quality and capacity rechargeable batteries. One aspect to be aware of is that they are a bit thicker than your typical AA batteries due to the larger capacity. So can be a tight fit into some battery powered items.

Less than 2 years on - 4 out of the 8 bought now dead (Review Now updated)
(Updated at the bottom)These SEEM great, with high mAh, but the reality is they don't last.I've been using these in a couple of PIR interior lights in the hallway for night visits to the bathroom, they get regularly charged and seem to last a reasonable amount of time, but after the last usage, they won't charge anymore. They are suppose to be good for "thousands" of charges, yet with less than 50 charges in the not even 2 years I've had them 4 are DEAD and I've got a fancy charger than can even do a "refresh" of rechargables. I've got Eneloops that are almost 10 years old that still charge, albeit less than the original capacity.Buy Eneloops - these are just not worth it.----------------Updated Jan 2025EBL reached out to me after seeing this review I left and wanted very much to rectify this - they have since replaced the defective batteries, and then followed up to ensure I received them and they are working - which is the sort of excellent customer service that should be added to a review for consideration.I have written this update at the bottom, as I do not wish to have it at the top which may encourage less than scrupulous people to take advantage of this to get more free batteries; chances are, if you read all the way to the bottom you're not that kind of person.

Great Batteries
Very good batteries and long lasting, very good for the price, I currently have AAA and AA EBL batteries and they are still going strong. I will be purchasing more in the future.

These are the best rechargeable batteries for the money.
Only buy Amazon or EBL batteries now, when my other rechargeables expire over time. Always found them to be consistent performers. Being 2800mah they last longer than the older 1700mah batteries that I still have running from several years ago.If you can stick to one brand, your batteries will last longer, both in charge and lifespan over time. Mixing them shortens the charge and you find yourself changing batteries more frequently. Don’t mix them is the simple rule.A decent intelligent charger is a must for a long lifespan, and their 8 battery charger works well. As does the more expensive XTAR range. Check out the reviews on those.

Long lasting
Bought these initially to replace the dying batteries in my garden solar lights. They last a lot longer than the old batteries did even when new. I'm now using them for everything around the home from remotes to torches, alarms and tools. Great batteries

Solid, reliable and great value
I’ve used a well know electrical high street shop brand’s batteries for quite a while however after they liquidated this year I was stuck, (good bye ***lin). Having a shop around I found these EBL. I chose it because they actually look pretty smart and did not cost the earth. It came with 8x AAA 800mah batteries which I wanted for to power some LED light cubes. They came with a slight charge but as the instructions say charge fully before use.The batteries themselves seem well constructed and came in a battery case which is handy for storing. Each cell is wrapped in a matt white vinyl bearing the EBL logo and specs. Each battery construction shows consistent printing and assembly which gives me the impression me that they are not going to explode if I left them charging overnight downstairs. The charger itself is light weight but not cheap feeling. Solid and no flex – reassures me more that this is a quality trustworthy item. Can charge 8 batteries, 2 a time. An LED indicator light between the charging pair changes colour as it goes through the charge cycle, RED – needs full charge, AMBER – nearly there and GREEN – good to go. There is no mention of the AMBER in the instructions so I was pleasantly surprised to see this. The charger design has a deep grove underneath the charging item for two purposes, one to vent the battery should it heat up during charging (this is normal and should not raise any alarms,) and aids removing the battery from the relatively tight but positive spring loaded charging pins.No complaints at all with this and in fact I actually bought a set of 2800mah AA’s. There are some complaints here in the review about the longevity however if you buy correct mah battery they should be ok. Higher drain items like high power torches, camera flash will need more mah’s (milli amp hours,) less drain items like remote control, cordless house telephone will do with less. Check your equipment before purchasing the batteries to ensure that you get the correct match otherwise you get less usage out of your equipment before needing to charge again.Thumbs up ..
