I use these lever nuts for all kinds of wiring projects. They are compatible with very broad range of wire gauge, and easily connect stranded to solid wire. Wire nuts do not connect dissimilar gauges very well, the skinny wire always gets beat up in a wire-nut. Lever-nuts release the wire in near perfect condition permitting rapid re-configuration of the circuit w/o having to re-dress the strands. Lever-nuts are very easy to use, create a neater looking junction, and approved for use in construction.

Never had a problem with any Wago connector. The clear plastic takes the guess work out of a proper installation.

I use Wago brand now all the time! These WAGO Lever-Nuts Inline Splicing Connectors are great for Halloween haunts when you need to splice or lengthen wires. The connector itself includes the wire stripping length so there is no guessing. These things are amazing and hold the wires tight!Wago has really created some amazing wire connectors for Electricians, Hobbyists and DIY'ers. I have used the other Wago connectors for fixing light fixtures as well. Handy to have and you can reuse them when you are done.As long as you strip the wire to the correct length, and the fact these newer designs are see-thru, you can verify the wires are connected correctly once you click them in.Great products and great value. Since I change the layout of my Halloween haunts, I have to change wire lengths, etc. These are great and they can be used again should you need to. Keep a variety of these connectors in your toolbox.

Solid copper can often be difficult to pair side-by-side. These inline Wagos help because you do not need to bend or hook the wire to pair them for wire nuts or side-by-side lever nuts. they are especially good where the line wire was cut too short originally. And they are easier to install end to end. I especially like the small opening for using meter probes; no need to remove the wire from the nut or baring a hot wire

So these are more expensive to the alternative wire nuts, but they allow you to do the job faster.You don't need to strip as much of the wire (you only need a bit of the exposed tip), and you don't need to wrap it off with electrical tape.I mainly bought these because I have canless recessed lights that require me to change the whole set of lights once every two years, which means I can easily just unclip the tips of the wires at the connection points and change out the whole set of lights instead of unwrapping, untwisting, then rewrapping, and retwisting the connection points.... just a simple flip and swap... it also means I don't need to climb the ladder with the extra pair of scissors and tape which is pretty awesome.The quality of the product is great, as long as it's a connection point you need to rewire then these are totally worth the price. If your solution requires you to just tie two wires together and never touch them again in your lifetime then I think the cheaper wire nuts would be worth the extra hassle.
