I have a DVD, I loaded and installed it a while ago without a problem and without XBOX live. Just a little side tip, that it is best to load it even two or three hours before the children anticipate using it. unless things have changed there it was really slow to load before it was ready to go.

Q: Does this game require kinect sensor

This re-release does not need the Kinect as the original did. You can play this with a normal controller. Great fun for kids and big kids!

This is a physical disk, no code to download the software is included
