I think it looks perfect, very traditional looking base
First time had a real tree since kids were born, now they are old enough not to eat the needles....well..... I think it looks perfect, very traditional looking base, adds a really nice finishing touch. Its a bit fiddly to get tree vertical and locked in, definitely a two person job, one to hold the tree and one to push the slats in place, but once done, it looks great. Water bowl is plenty big enough, even when tree is freshly cut, the reservoir lasts over 24 hours. Some have said its fiddly to fill up when tree is in place, well yes, but its also very discrete so you cant have it both ways. I wedged a small funnel in the back of the reservoir and filled it up using an empty Ribena bottle. Job done. Very good quality wood, sturdy construction, very happy, apologies in delay in writing review, I'm catching up on dozens of them!

it was great, looked great and held my tree great
I used this for a real 6ft tree this Christmas, it was great, looked great and held my tree great ! I loved it and everyone commented how great it looked, highly recommend it as well made and holds a good amount of water for a real tree or remove ( easily ) the water container for an artificial tree ! Its now 2018 and still going strong 😀 its already back in use with my 6ft real tree again ! I absolutely adore it !

Excellent
I have to be honest, when I saw this I expected the item to arrive as a flat pack assembly. But No! Arrived in a large box with plenty of packaging around the already fully assembled stand. The product is very well made and robust and supported with ease the 6' 6" real tree we put into it. The water bowl at the base of the stand contains a steel spike to locate the base of the tree securely, the trunk is then supported by 2 adjustable supports at the top edge of the stand. With the tree in place the water bowl is a little awkward to refill but the purchase of a small funnel with a flexible spout from our local Wilkinsons store fixed that issue. (£3.49). Very pleased with the product, it is very good quality, functioning, and sturdy stand and it arrived well inside the delivery timeframe.

Looks great but really difficult to use
Really cute stand, seems sturdy but impossible to get a 5 ft tree to stand up in. The wooden beams that move to hold the tree in place were so stiff and at one point impossible to move, took 10 minutes just to sort that. If you have a tree that has a lot of branches at the bottom be prepared to have to trim it just to get the beams close enough to have any chance of your tree staying up. It definitely needs 3 people to do it. I would have sent it back if not already opened and partly used. The 3 stars are for the customer service which was really good and the look of it. It's not user friendly.

Fabulous. A very sturdy and attractive tree stand.
This is a quality product. It looks good and had provided really strong support for my 6' 6'' artificial tree. The clever sliding supports ensure that you can lock any diameter tree firmly in position. I secured my artificial tree into position single handedly but two people would definitely be required to erect a real tree. A really great purchase.

looks great
Great product - bit tricky to get the tree in.Make sure you have a nice long stump for your tree - we had to cut away some of the lower branches so that it would fit
