These are perfect for securing my fishing reels to the roof rack of my SUV. Small enough to not dangle on the vehicle roof and rubber coated to prevent any chafing while subjected to 75 mph speeds. Easy to set the combinations and open once they are set. While the roof rack locks will keep the rods from being stolen, these locks keep somebody from making off with the reels while they are mounted on the rods.

This lock won't prevent your bike from being stolen by a determined thief with a set of cable cutters, but it's a very good deterrent lock for fence gates and the like. The combination dials are large and tactile and work smoothly, and the numbers can be seen easily.

Lol I couldn’t figure out the initial code at first until I read description here on the item! Other than that easy to reset security code! I like that it’s silicone and small! Just what I needed. Quality is great!

These are super nice to have as a quick lock. The rubberized stuff makes it nice so that it doesn't rattle when you ride with it attached to the bike. We have bought 2 more after the first two were so good!

The lock dials are large and easy-to-use with a nice crisp-click feel. Silicone is very soft and won't scratch your bike and/or rack. Also, if you happen to use this item in blue color with your RockyMounts bike racks, the lock looks like it's a RockyMounts factory item with the same blue-color tone. Perfect as a quick visual deterrent for added security. Highly recommend it.

It's just a thin cable covered in silicone, but it does act as a sufficient deterrent. I would not use this in a high theft area or overnight. For a quick run into the store, or to keep the kids bike safe during school, it's a great lock.

Love how light and flexible this is, but I lost a scooter because of it! So easy to cut off - my scooter was taken from a normally safe university campus during the day. I've replaced the scooter and gone for a heavier-duty lock this time!

I wouldn’t leave my bike overnight with this, but it’s perfect for short stops. The material is nice as it doesn’t leave marks or scratches

I liked the shape and the silicone around the cable. After a few uses the pin in the lock barrel snapped. It did this while riding on the bike...not even being used as a lock. This product failed at the one thing it needed to do. Poorly made junk that looks pretty. Steer clear. The guts are cast aluminum!

I received my bike lock and the code that was on doesn't open the lock. I try a couple of code but nothing. Does someone know the default code? If not I will have to return it. Thank you
