Soooo pleased with my Sony mp3 player. Received a few hours ago. Replacement for original Sony mp3,battery gone. Sounds great, not taking too long to get to grips with. All music on and using within 4 hours. Need sd card though. Lots of music. Wouldn't have chosen any other mp3. Thanks Sony.

It's a good little mp3, but for the price I expected the sound on the headphones to be better.

Bought this Walkman in Nov,2017 as a change from being a consistent iPod user.The player is light, well designed in appearance and the sound quality is fit for purpose.However, the battery has appalling charge retention, and leaks charge steadily even when not being used.Poor staying power when used on long journeys or used for mildly extended periods and always needs charging before use if left fully charged and not used for a week or so.Given the price I found this Sony product offered very poor value.It is also less than easy transferring playlists from either IPlayer or Windows Media Player on to the Walkman.Other models are now on the market which purport to have extended battery power, but I would approach any Sony Walkman with massive caution and would recommend that you avoid purchasing this model be it new or used.I reverted to an iPod in early 2019 after feeling constantly frustrated by my Walkman

Splendid bit of kit, came with a 16GB that wasn't enough storage for the amount of music I have, when adding a 64GB via SD card it's given me plenty of storage space and more, well happy now 😁
