This calculator is absolutely NOT suitable for A Level or GCSE study.
I am a GCSE Maths teacher. I bought 3 of these to use as spares with my students. Firstly, one out of three didn't work. Either it was broken or the battery was flat so I received a refund.Secondly, the functions do not work the same way as a standard Casio scientific calculator. The operations cannot be edited on the screen as you type so the order of operations is not taken into consideration like on more complex calculations. If you're studying GCSE then you will realise that this means your calculator will not follow "BIDMAS" rules. Also, if this was a suitable calculator for GCSE study, you would be able to type in a formula included substituted numbers in brackets and press "equals" once at the end to get your answer. This calculator will not do this - it functions as a basic calculator which performs each function sequentially as you press the buttons. For example, to find the square root of 9, you press 9 then the sq rt button, like a basic calculator. A proper scientific calculator (such as a CASIO EX85 GT PLUS) will allow you to type the square root symbol and then place the number (or calculation) underneath, much like you would write it. A Casio also has fractions buttons that are worth their weight in gold to a student trying to make their calculations more efficient and accurate. I don't work for Casio but their products are clearly superior.I genuinely think that if you buy this calculator for GCSE Maths, you will be putting yourself or your child at a disadvantage compared with other students. Most other students nationally will have Casio calculators that perform BIDMAS order correctly and have editing functions. For the sake of your/your child's maths grade, make the investment in a ยฃ8 calculator rather than this one at ยฃ2.50.This one is fine for adding up and multiplying and other practical tasks. It's no good for anything scientific or operations higher than Grade 3/E.

I hope it last for a good while.
My daughter is very happy with the calculator because it will help her at school. The only thing that I was upset about is that the batteries inside were dead, I had to replace them.

Excellent calculator, easy to use and buttons feel solid.
Bought two as presents and was happy to see the quality of the calculators when they arrived. Solid built, working without any problems. Happy purchase.
