Personalised Star Chrome Petrol Lighter Engraved In Gift Tin

The lighter itself is mechanically sound, feels strong and is well presented in the tin. The engraving is really neatly done and exactly how I wanted it! It’s really clean and shiny too, comes with filling instructions in case you need them and for the price it’s an absolute bargain.There wasn’t an option to mark it as a gift or personalise the product but I just messaged the seller exactly what I wanted engraved and they responded right away to confirm it.Bought it as a last minute birthday gift for a colleague and it arrived early so definitely recommend!

A good(low)price and works fine-so far. In fact far better value than the real thing!I've had at least ten genuine Zippo's in the last fifteen years and all ended up in the bin. Always the hinge failed. Zippo's now are made,not to be used,but for collectors it seems. If you are a smoker avoid Zippo's like the plague as they are not tough anymore,they are just for show. For the price of a Zippo I can get ten of these! Do the sums.

Very disapointed. Bought non engraved black previous and excellent. This second was for small present. Supplier notified me when sent [post], delivery status continued to say due by....... but nothing. Waited... no explanation, continued to say due by...even after the date. Eventually notified seller - nothing. Notified again in stronger terms [I think twice] and eventually received replacement some time later. This one badly tarnished / rust inside main case. I understand this is not an expensive item, that is not the point. Having given excellent rating on first purchase I go the complete opposite on this one. I am keeping due to inexpensive cost and hassle. Really disappointing as potentially good product [I would have paid more - glad I didn't].

They are very good quality, but only thing that put me off when I received my products they didn't turn up in black box as shown in photo. That is the only thing that chose yours over anyone else.

Avery nice lighter...I collect Zippos,and wanted to see just how good a copy China made of this iconic product...not bad at all,and as my Zippos are rare ,this will do nicely for everyday use.Would make a good,inexpensive(but not cheap looking)gift...nicely engraved,too,with base metal showing through chrome,looking like gold or brass.Can't go wrong for the price.

The main USP of this product offered a personalized engraving service, however upon arrival it was clear that no customization had taken place.My engraving was completely absent and the product itself feels very flimsy and of low quality.The hinge has a lot of play in it, I wouldn't expect it to last for long during normal use. The base of the lighter has the following stamped into it:"STAR-I since 1988. 2015 903"Can't expect much from the price, but at the very least it should arrive with the engraving requested.I am a professional reviewer of products, and as such I receive them from the vendor at low or no cost in exchange for an objective impartial review. I have no affiliation with Amazon, or the seller.It's rare that I award 1 star, but in this case it's well deserved. Had I paid for this item I would likely have cut my losses by binning it. The flimsy nature of the lighter worries me that filling it with combustible fluid may end in disaster, and the lack of engraving defeats the object of it's purchase.

What can I say? A Zippo style lighter engraved and delivered at this price, and from within the UK? Unbeatable! I added the inscription I wanted, as per the seller's instructions, and even asked if it could be put on the reverse of the lighter. The lighter arrived 3 days later and the inscription was done exactly as I asked.
