Grace Company TrueCut Non-Slip Ruler Grips-30/Pkg, OSFA

I’m so incredibly impressed with this product, it’s now my new must have product for quilters!!!I bought this as I had previously bought a quilting ruler which I discovered had no built in anti slip on the base.It was well worth the wait as my item was sent from the US.As well as using this on my big quilting ruler, I’m super impressed with it on my very very tiny rulers too, as I do miniature quilting as well. I saved the spare inner ‘dots’ to use on small rulers, so don’t throw away these little inner dots thinking they have no useful purpose as they are absolutely brilliant!!!I’m now able to get spot on precision when I’m cutting my fabric for the first time as they offer far better grip than the top of the range rulers with built in anti slip.I am extremely impressed that the dots don’t interfere with the stability of the ruler, specially the tiniest ruler I have.These dots have the same type of texture as anti slip tray mats and I think will easily wipe clean if lint or dust builds up on the pads. I wouldn’t soak the ruler for loosing the adhesive backing but I think they could be cleaned using a very mild detergent and pat dry using a lint free cloth and air dried further.This is excellent for bigginner quilters as these little dots grip the fabric, preventing the ruler from slipping, when using the long rulers this can be very tricky.This is excellent for new and experienced quilters as we all want rulers that don’t let us down by moving when cutting our expensive fabrics, and giving us spot on precision cutting to prevent waisting fabric for every single project.I will be buying several of these packs of dots to gift to my quilting friends and family as they would benefit highly from these.

These grips are perfect to use on the back of my quilting rulers to stop slippage when cutting fabric with a rotary cutter. Easy to remove from the backing and stick really well. They are almost clear so no blockage to measurements. You have a choice of the really tiny inner spot or the larger outer ring. You can use them both together if you want to as well. I gave 4 stars as there are not very many in the pack for the price. This is my second pack. Would recommend.

I was amazed how well these little dots worked. They definitely stopped my rulers from slipping but you don't get much for your money. I have seven quilting rulers and wanted to put dots on all of them but the little envelope containing the sheet of dots measured about 2.5 inches x 4 inches so there was not many 'dots' to cover all my rulers. The packet contained about 8 x 1/2" dots and the same amount of smaller dots inside but it was not enough to cover all my rulers (I used 5 dots on small rulers and about 7 on larger rulers) I ended up cutting up the sheet that the dots were stamped out of i.e all the irregular shapes once I had used all the dots and they worked just the same. I used every last scrap of the sheet to stop my rulers slipping and managed to cover all my rulers. Some of the bits were oddly shaped but did the job just the same. These definitely work and stop the ruler slipping which is a major bugbear of mine when cutting out quilting fabric as it has to be so precise.

These little dots are easy to place and initially stuck well to my quilting rulers. They do stop the ruler moving on the fabric whilst using a rotary cutter and for that reason I would probably buy them again. I have found latterly, however, that the plastic "blob" is parting company with the adhesive pad and falling off. I have enough left in the packet to replace those that are now missing, but I didn't expect that I would need to replace them at all.

Love these. Bought them to hold my ruler still while I cut and it makes it so much easier. Keeping the fabric and ruler aligned, as well as making the ruler easier to pick up.Really easy to apply as well as one side is tacky.

These grips are brilliant. I always used the little stickers of a type of emery paper but they weren't great. The paper would come off and leave a sticky residue, not good! I thought I would give these a go. I'm a convert! They're repositionable and don't leave any residue. You can still position the ruler easily but when pressure is applied to the ruler, and I mean only a little pressure, the ruler ain't going anywhere. The only negative I have is the size. The 'small' ones, which measure just 1/4" are so small they're not really any use. I've tried them on my smallest ruler which is 2.5" square and they don't really do anything. Much too small. However, the bigger ones are good, which measure 3/4" are good. You only get 15 of each size in a pack which don't go very far especially if using them on a 24" ruler. All said, I do love these and will stick to them in the future.
