A very capable alarm clock, speaker smartish device.
I was humming and haaahing for quite a while with regards to this Witti beddi device, reading reviews, watching youtube videos trying to decide whether to take a risk.I decided to buy 2 whilst reduced on Amazon, 1 for myself and one for my daughter.Well they arrived in nice boxes, and very well packaged and the thing that surprised me was that they were actually smaller than i had envisaged, which is good, because i wondered how it would go on my bedside cabinet, with my Teckin lamp i had bought just from Amazon as well.I downloaded app from Apple store called Beddi. Installed this no problem and then when turning on the Beddi it wanted to pair on bluetooth straight away which i did, then you are taken through a setup routine where you can link services such as Spotify, Philips Hue, Nest, Lifx, Wemo, Uber and homekit.I actually linked Philips Hue as i have these in my lounge to test, and it linked to my account and enabled me to change light colours. You can link actions to one of 3 smart buttons on the beddi, each one has 3 modes so 9 things you could do in total at the press of a button.I wont really use these at the moment as my hue is in my lounge, but the beauty is you can link action to your alarms, so say for example you had Hue in your room you could get it to turn on when your alarm goes off, or the wemo is a smart plug so that could turn something on that is plugged into the wemo switch.I havent got any other things at the moment so i cant comment on those, but the function is there if you need it.The Beddi has 2 usb charging ports that you could plug say your mobile phone in, and there is a holder in the top of the clock that you can place your phone in.I do and the the screen orients itself to the correct way and you can display weather conditions, traffic etc, so when your alarm goes off it is on the screen to see weather forecast, it can actually speak these, but i dont fancy that when i first wake.oh, and you can set the lights on the bottom of the beddi to come on, and there is a wakeup light at the back as well that you can use to slowly turn on before the alarm. There is a normal beep or you can have the radio, which i forgot to mention, or a relax sound or it can play from your apple music, which i do have, or spotify which i dont. There is a white noise generator which has some preloaded, or extras you can download (free), which includes Wind, Forest, Rain, Ocean, Fan, Waterfall, Train and so on. There is a timer function as well so you can set it different times, up to an hour and then it will switch the noise off, or say music if you were listening to that.It plays bluetooth nicely from my iphone, but there is a line in as well for non bluetooth devices. All in all i am very pleased with my purchase, and my daughter (16 yrs old) loves hers as well.At first the thing seems a bit daunting with all the buttons and options thinking it is a bit complicated, but its like my car when i first got it trying to learn what on earth all the buttons and functions are, but you very quickly get used to it and its not complicated at all. (the car and the beddi).I am impressed, like i say, and there are quite a few other devices that Witti make that i would like to try out, and if i was disappointed with these then i really wouldnt bother, so that is a good thing.

Great alarm clock.
I love this product, its got great sound quality and the light is really beautiful. It has the fabulous extra feature of the smart button which can play your spotify playlists at just the click of a button, please note though in order to connect this you have to have spotify premium. You can connect your bluetooth and just play spotify manually on your phone though also. The bluetooth connects automatically sotheres no hassle connecting it up. The white noise available is really good, with nice sounds. There is a sleep function too which is really useful. The only critisms I have are that sometimes it can be a little temperamental, some of the functions can not work the first time you press them. And its a disspointing that a radio this expensive doesn't have dab radio, the fm radio isnt brilliant...I do love the weather forecast function in the morning when we wake up, it can be really useful. The alarm is reliable also, means i dont have to worry about my phone not going off.

Lots of promise but ultimately a let-down.
The "sunrise" wake-up light is really no such thing. Rather than coming on gradually, as all other alarm clocks like this do, it takes around a minute to reach full brightness. For days where I want to snooze for longer, the fact the alarm stops sounding after a maximum of an hour is really annoying.Another issue with it behaving unlike other, similar alarm clocks is that hitting the snooze button to check the time in during the night doesn't show it for a few seconds then turn off again, but simply cycle through the brightness settings, requiring you to press it another three times.Being able to play music from whatever service you like as an alarm is great, though I probably wouldn't bother if I didn't have a spare phone to leave connected as the auto-connect doesn't seem to be reliable. It's also not the best looking thing, but that's a very minor concern.

As useful as a chocolate fire guard!
Ridiculously awkward to use. The brightness of the clock digits gets brighter and disappears randomly which means you have to go into the app settings and adjust back to where you previously had it.Don’t try playing music as part of your alarm settings as it does not regulate the volume and plays it loud, ignores the snooze and in some instances will transfer the musics back through your phone and then you have to pause the music through the player on the phone. For information my phone is an IPhone 8.If you’re thinking of buying one of these; DONT it’s useless and a waste of money. I’m now looking for a replacement, it’s rubbish!

A product that disappoints...
That device is for me unsatisfying, because without a smartphone and app, the smart clock is simply a normal clock with sunrise light function... all other functions are just connected via bluetooth and uses the app and the clock itself as a speaker, so make sure to have always your phone nearby. If you really want a smart clock, buy the amazon echo 5 instead, it can do all the stuff the beddi promised but did not deliver - and more!

Speaker makes a small amount of white noise all the time
At first I liked it and thought it was great! I like the mood lights and the fact it links with Spotify. But after a few weeks I soon got fed up. It makes a constant white noise like a speaker left on but not playing anything. Very subtle but enough to interrupt my sleep. The Bluetooth connection is very annoying too, many times when i connect to another speaker in my house after 5 minutes it will automatically jump to my beddi in my bedroom even when i try and disconnect and even unpaid it carried on doing this.I would not recommend this purchase, just by a normally alarm clock, they are cheaper and less hassle.

Expensive and unreliable
I just have a simple 'Charge' version. Its display lights too many segments at times so hard to read the time. The software is atrocious and have had to reset occasionally. Holding down a button for switching off a light or to set the alarm is stupid. You can also change the time inadvertently very easily unlike the alarm. Shame has some useful functions but implemented badly.
