I was looking for a bed for my Labrador. She has had beds previously and blankets but is terrible for chewing them. We had blankets that were chewed and even the plastic beds that she chewed round the edges. Therefore I was reluctant to spend much money for her to do this but I didn’t like the idea of her sleeping on a cold floor during the winter months. I came across this product and thought it looked a great bed and was happy to see that it had a removable washable cover which for me was a must have. I purchased due to the great price and wasn’t really expecting much and didn’t expect to last a night to be honest. Now I am shocked to say that this bed is still in one piece. She has not chewed it once and absolutely loves it. I can wash the cover as often as I like which has been great after wet weather etc. The only thing I would say as although the design is great and all the padding doesn’t bunch together in a set place as it has like compartments, it has gone a bit out of shape in places but this is easily corrected like plumping a cushion! A great bed and I would definitely recommend it.

This dog bed is lovely and fits the crate perfectly however, my 5 month old spaniel has destroyed it within 2 weeks. The underneath is very flimsy and the top is very thin. She basically dug through it. I wouldn’t say she is particularly destructive (but she does have her moments) but this was way too easy to make a hole in. So, if you have a lovely calm dog get it as it is very comfortable but if you have a dog who likes to dig/scratch or chew anything don’t waste your money.

I can't recommend these beds highly enough - very well made, excellent quality, robust, lightweight, exactly as described and very good value I feel, for what you are getting. I bought the 2xl for the lounge first; when we (which means me! lol) decided our girl needed a better bed for her nighttime spot in our room, there was no other bed I even considered. This slightly smaller size fits the frame of her 'bed' perfectly and she loves it - in fact, we have had to start shutting the bedroom door during the day to stop her sloping off and having a sneaky kip!

This arruved three says, you'll see from the picture the mess it has left on my skirting board. The woodwork is stained, the mark will, not rub off. I washed the bed today hoping it would stop the dye from transferring to any other surface. The bed looks awful, the black has run into the light coloured fleece top.

Bed slightly lumpy but still really good quality for the price. Fit perfectly into our crate for our new 8 month rescue pup. Made crate training easier and cover comes off quickly to bung in wash if any wee accidents. Bed was delivered quickly with no issues. Definitely better beds out there but not many at this price! Happy with mine. Would recommend.Update: originally gave bed 4* but today my pup peed on the bed. I removed the cover and actually put the mattress in the washing machine (handwash 30 degree wash with a capful of Zaflora). Washed like a dream! Dried on radiator. Washed cover separately - looks good as new (actually slightly better as filling now more even).

This is such a brilliant and simple bed; my lurcher loves the largest size available, especially lying sideways and hanging his head off of the side. He sleeps in our bedroom and so the sheepskin allows for silent fidgeting, although he does like to 'dig' when he nests down for the night.It is a safe haven for him next to the radiator and he loves it for quiet, chilled out time. I have never seen him sleep as soundly.I also love the look of it, simple and classic to fit in with any decor.My only criticism (although not enough to mark it down to 4 stars) was that when I unpacked it the white sheepskin had lots and lots of black bits of material that I had to pick out and vacuum away for about 10 minutes. This was a temporary annoyance and obviously does not affect the quality of the product in the long term.

I’ve left it a while to see the bed get used before writing my review. The bed came in good time, my dog took to it straight away and seemed to love it, so decided it’s time to write the review. It’s like my dog knew and decided to give it his final test. My dog vomited all over it! That’s ok, the cover comes off! I dealt with my dog, cleaned up his face and let him out for some air, took maybe 5 minutes max. Came in, took the cover off to find a bare pillow inside and the vomit had soaked right the way through. You can’t wash and keep it as all the filling clumps up inside. So time to buy a new bed I guess! If you want a dog bed that lasts until your dog has an accident on it, in our case less than a year, then this is the bed for you! For spring cleaning the cover comes off easily, washes well and goes back on with ease, but for accidents it’s no good. Such a shame.
