Great EDC light
It's small, tough as nails, great runtime, good light output, fast USB C charging. It's always in my pocket, and it should be in yours too. The flash pattern is more flood than spot, but that's what you'd need in a light this small for EDC purposes. Solid aluminum construction (including the tailcap switch), hefty feel. This is my 4th Sofirn light purchased in the past few months, seems to be very solid stuff.

This thing is really bright for the size
My first impression of the Sofirn SC32 upon opening the box was general amazement at how small it is. I already have the SC31 and it's almost an inch shorter. It's incredibly bright on turbo mode to the point that I don't think I'd ever really use it, but it's neat that it's there. The strobe mode could absolutely be used for self defense if necessary. The LED is a bit on the pink side for 5000K, but that's normal LED binning variance. My SC31 is a bit on the green side but they're both within the expected range for 5000K LEDs.The controls are pretty simple after a bit of testing. Hold the button from the off position for a dim light. Hold the button while the flashlight is on to adjust the brightness. Single click to turn the light on or off. Double click puts the light into the extremely bright turbo mode. Triple click puts the light into the also extremely bright strobe mode. Finally, quadruple clicking the tail switch changes between stepped or ramping modes for the brightness adjustment if the flashlight is on, or lock/unlock if the flashlight is off. After playing around with it for a few weeks, I really do enjoy the size and the twin position clip for either my pocket or hat if I need a hands free light. It doesn't have a magnetic tail cap option like the SC31 because that's where the switch is, but that's the tradeoff for the smaller size. I'd recommend either light depending on your personal preferences.

Bright, compact, but tailcap interface can be overly complex
its bright, with quite a floody beam. doesnt reach out there as much as a focused beam but also doesnt have quite as much spill as say a klarus E1, beam color is more yellow less pure white. super compact size barely bigger than the 18650 battery, and including a charging port that is very compact. only complaint is the tailcap switch, its a click to turn on click twice for this, hold for that, click 4x for that, type of thing that doesnt make it easy to switch between modes. i find that i just put it on max and use the tailcap for on/off and try not to accidentally switch something. it does heat up fast, but seems to dissipate heat quickly also.

One trick pony, no distance or beam at all
This flashlight is super bright and a cool gadget but not that usable for a 2000 lumen light. It's cool that it's that bright but the flood is so uncontrolled that you can't really "do anything" with it. It says it goes over 200 meters, I shined it across a 100m riverbank and I couldn't see illumination from it at all. Meanwhile, a Nitecore 1000 lumen light I had lit up the trees there just fine. Up close, I can't see any usable difference between 1000 and 2000 lumen. It's a fine light if all you want is an impressively bright flood to show people "hey I have a super bright flashlight" but can't go far at all but if you need it for something practical like a search light or to be used to identify a target, then this light is pretty much worthless.

This little thing is great.
What can I say, Its with me at all times. It is small but really bright. I have used it clipped onto a rifle and the shock doesn't seem to bother it. I will definitely buy this again1

Sofrin SC32
Recently bought the Sofrin SC32 after using and loving the HS10 and HS40, great light for the price, very comparable to the O light Baton 3 pro, I got the warm white so the high output isn't hard on the eyes. Pocket clip isn't exactly a deep carry, but only a little bit of the light sticks out. Clips securely to a hat to be used as a headlamp, tail switch is recessed to prevent accidentally turning it on within the pocket. Usb-c charging is great, since I run Android. Light does get a little warm on high over time and gets warm quickly on turbo, which is expected. Over all, recommend if you're looking for a good EDC light, tool bag light, etc.

Great flashlight
So far so good, been using it off and on for 4 to 5 months. Smallest 18650 flashlight I own. Great output for size. Like that it's tail switch only. Coming from someone who collects higher end lights, overall great light especially for the price.

I haven't had it for 24 hours and it's already acting funny.
I haven't had it for 24 hours and it's already acting funny. It was working normal until the battery died. After a recharge, it's acting strange. Before the charge, holding the button would step through the power levels; IE low, medium, high, repeat as the button is held. After the charge, holding the button causes it to slowly fade up to “turbo” brightness and stay there. I have to let go and hold again which causes it to slowly fade down to “moon” level and stays there. Also the manual says both Turbo and Moon mode shouldn't be available during this level change process. Anything powered by an 18650 that acts unpredictably makes me nervous. There's no shortage of examples of these blowing up if not treated properly. One has to trust that there's a quality cell and a properly configured BMS under the shrink-wrap. That's a trust I'm unlikely to have if it can't go 1 day without becoming unpredictable.
