This was for my son who said he loves how powerful it is. Very sturdy, about the right size. Would of been good to get more suckered darts with it, but overall really pleased with it.

Lovely piece of kit & also reasonably powerful. Seems like a good robust quality product that should last. Hours of fun ahead.

doesnt fire "arrows" very far. got this to try and scare rabbits of garden, but arrows fell far short. But it did make a lioud enough noise to stimulate a real type of gunshot.

Great fun for the kids! It is rated as a 14 year old toy but is no more powerful than a nerf gun and has a similar range. My kids have had great fun with it so I got another one so they had one each, both of my kids are under 14 and can use it without any problems.

So disappointed with this product. The product is very poor quality with the dart only firing about 8 feet. Overpriced and so disappointed with this. Avoid at all cost or regret your purchase like I have.

Pros: solid and very well designed, good range (>10 m, really not a toy!). I like a new mechanism that prevents dry firing and at the same time keeps the dart from falling out of the barrel. Comfortable for [relatively old] children and adults. Cons: it is a bit too strong for the light darts it is intended to shoot with. As a result, the bow is somewhat less accurate than much weaker "fun" series (that are very nice toys, have several of those). I guess it would benefit from heavier darts. The age rating is 13 as far as I remember and I understand why, it is very strong....

I bought this product for my little brother who absolutely loves crossbows. He was thrilled with this one which is very easy to assemble, simply to use and surprisingly powerful. I was very impressed by the range of the crossbow which is also extremely accurate, at least over the 10 yards we fired it at. A word to the wise however. This product is not really a toy as such; the manufacturers do put 14+ on the packaging for a reason. It's not a lethal weapon by any means but I'm sure it would be extremely painful to anyone unfortunate enough to be hit by it! Adult supervision is probably advisable as well as instructions to the child not to fire at people or animals. Definitely more fun than a nerf gun though, for adults as well as children. 100% recommend.
