I'm waiting for my house to have new wiring upstairs and obviously can't use a vacuum sweeper. I thought this was worth a try, as I remember using carpet sweepers many years ago. This product was the answer. I now use it in preference to a vacuum cleaner in every room in the house.I have arthritis in my hands, but still this is a joy to use -I have no probems with it at all. The box is easy to empty and although it seems incredibly light and flimsy it is tough and super efficeint, especially at first on hairs previously left by a vacuum, which will need cutting off the brush after use. The first time I used it I had to empty it after every room! Picks up everything from crumbs to talcum powder.Great on stairs. I detach the top two parts of the handle and it works well on hard floors and carpets. The head swivels and it gets into awkward corners.To be fair, I was going to get one for my daughter who has two dogs, but I hesitate because she has long loose hair which will need removing from the brush and I doubt she has time to do that. I will still give it five stars because vacuum cleaner brushes have hair problems too. This product is worth every penny.

Handy for the times when you don't need to get out the heavy vacuum cleaner as it is so light. Works really well over hard floors and is not too bad on carpets though I feel as though it might stall or stop on the thicker carpets but it keeps on going and gets all the bits up. The head swivels as you use it so it's handy to get into the corners and around furniture. It also goes quite low so you can get under furniture, though not with lower settees etc. You need to be over the bin when emptying as the bits will just fall straight out. I would have given more stars if you could tell when it was fully charged, but the charging light has never gone out even when it's been on charge for several hours.

To be honest I thought when I saw it that it didn't look like much, kind of small and I thought, oh it wont be any good,Well I was wrong it gets all the dog hair off the rugs, all the dog food that she leaves round her dish, bits of crumbs off kitchen rugs and hard floor , does the living room carpet and bedrooms too and still plenty charge left. Emptying it is a breeze, just push a button, Its light and easy to manoeuvre which is fab for me as I have a lot of aches and pains and joint problems and cannot manage the large hoover.To sum up this keeps the place neat and tidy, a quick whizz round with this once or twice a day takes no time and place instantly a lot better,Quick and easy to do just before expecting a visitor too,

Ooooo I love this little sweeper. I spent a long time choosing it and am very happy with my choice. I keep it in the dining room and have a quick whizz round every day - it's great for picking up crumbs and other bits that get dropped. I also use it on the kitchen floor. It took a bit of getting used to as the head seemed to have a mind of it's own to start with as it moves in all directions but soon got the hang of it and realised that this feature actually made it more efficient. Probably needs a charge about once a week and the only critiscm I have is that the red light doesn't change to green once it is fully charged. BOUGHT THIS IN JULY 2014 AND BY DECEMBER 2015 IT HAS DIED ON ME. AS SOON AS ANY LIGHT PRESSURE IS APPLIED THE MOTOR SEIZES UP AND THE BRUSH STOPS REVOLVING.COULDN'T BE BOTHERED TO SEND IT BACK...SO MY INITIAL DELIGHT HAS COMPLETELY GONE AND SO HAS THE SWEEPER - I SHOULD ADD THAT I HAVE USED IT ONLY MODERATELY AND EXACTLY AS ADVISED.

'Supreme' model is my second Bissell Sweep Compact, previous one looks exactly the same, apart from the color scheme, but is about 5 years old. I have misplaced the charging unit for my sweeper and decided to buy the whole thing instead of the charger only. And now it's the interesting part: The old sweeper performs much better despite it's age with the noise consistent throughout every movement, whereas the new one, 'Supreme' edition makes noises as if it was dying of asthma with massive difference between movement forward and backward. Also ability to pick up particles seem to be vastly affected by it's supremacy. Bear in mind that I have done the comparison test pushing both fully charged units side by side, over the same surface and the old sweeper had filled up considerably faster than the new one. However, the bottom line is that I've decided to buy the same thing again, I wouldn't if I wasn't 100% happy.
