Good picture quality and easy to use
I ordered this ExquizOn T5 Mini LED LCD Video Projector 1500 Lumens with Dual IR Sensor Supports HD 1080P and Multi Screen for Multimedia Smartphone Tablet Home Theatre Entertainment Games, Black & White as wanted a smaller projector. It arrived in its own box with carry handle and was very well packaged inside so arrived in very good condition. It comes with a user manual of which pages 1-22 give English instructions which are clear and easy to follow. It is quite weighty which shows me its made of good quality materials.I like that its white with just a small part in Black as it blends in with our white décor very well.It has a manual focus which is easy to use and can zoom at two levels with the remote control supplied (remote takes x2 AAA batteries which are not supplied). There are push buttons on top which are easy to use, and I like how the lens cover is attached so does not get lost which is a great idea. The lead is not very long so do need to position quite near a power supply. It has a 5V USB output which makes it good for powering a fire stick, but I did notice the HDMI is quite close to the USB output so did have to use a HDMI extender.Overall the picture quality is good and it projects well onto screen so very pleased with its performance.I enjoy leaving reviews to help others in their purchasing decisions and hope my review has helped today, [...]

Don't trust these excellent reviews
This projector is not fit for purpose. It claims it works easily with an iPad or iPhone. It does if you only want to mirror your photos or use iPlayer. It is not compatible with Netflix and simply plays sound with no image and an error message (see pic). The sound quality would be ok for a small bedroom but not nearly good enough for a living room. The power cable is laughably short. It barely reaches the ground from the table, let alone a socket. Extension cable required. Picture quality is ok but definitely not anywhere near the claims made elsewhere. Having wasted several hours trying in vain to get it to play Netflix from any Apple device, it is being returned to sender. A waste of time and effort all round. Further, the company does not publish any phone number for support. You have to submit an email and wait 48h.

i feel like im missing my TV
as i am reviewing this, i feel like im missing my TV, althought it was a good idea to have one. i really do like it but the lumens are dim during the day if you like gaming or watching movies, good on a night time. after much thought i have decided to invest in a 4k tv instead. as the picture quality is not that good for gaming but ok for movies.

Keystone does not work, but otherwise an okay projector
An okay projector. I wished the keystone actually functioned - it does tilt the image, however blurs the top and bottom edges to an annoying extent.Beware of the native resolution being 800*480, everything projected will be at that resolution just scaled depending on what is fed into it.Other than the negatives mentioned, the projector serves its basic function well.

Broken in 6 months
Was a really good projector but now I have only had it for 6 months and it is broken. It is now just displaying a blank white screen and nothing is working.

Cracking little projector - small and light but a great picture
Projectors really seem to have tumbled in price in recent months - I think the idea of getting a projector this good at this price point a year or two ago would have been completely unheard of. My first projector that I purchased, some 15 or so years ago, cost me many, many times the cost of this one second hand, and had nothing like the resolution or brightness of this one, despite being about fives times the size and weight! My uses for a projector are probably a bit different to a lot of people - whilst I do watch films and even TV on one at home, it's primary use for me is for presentations for work. I need something that's bright enough to be visible in an office or boardroom during the day, when you might not be able to get the room as dark as you can at home if you are watching a film, for example. It also needs to be small and portable, and it's me that's lugging it about, so the smaller and lighter the better for me. This one certainly seemed to fit the bill for me, so how did it do?The projector comes well packed in a neat black box with silver writing, with the actual projector safely wrapped up in plenty of spongy foam inside to protect it. It looks like a class bit of kit from the off, and whilst some some think packaging to be irrelevant if you are giving this as a gift to someone then it does make a difference.Inside you'll find the power cable, obviously, a handy remote control plus a bundled HMDI lead, which is a nice touch, alongside the manual. The manual is better than most I have seen - easy to follow and well illustrated.I mentioned how much smaller this projector is compared to the one I used to have, and it's tiny even compared to the one I bought recently too - I believe it's a mini projector, which means it's very small and light - I've included a can of coke in the pictures below to give you some sort of size comparison. It looks great too, nicely finished with black buttons on the white body, although you probably won't spend too long looking at it!Setup couldn't be easier - plug in the power lead, remove the lens cap and turn it on and you'll be greeted with the media selection menu where you can select your USB stick , SD card, HMDI connection etc. Control is easy with both the included remote control or the buttons on the top of the unit. You'll need to adjust the focus, which is easily done with the focus ring at the front of the projector. You may also need to adjust the keystone if your projector isn't level with the screen - that sounds tricky but it's just another little wheel you move to adjust the picture to keep it square, and again it's dead easy and will take about two seconds. For such a small projector they haven't skimped on the inputs. Going around the projector you have headphone out, AV out, USB in, USB out, HDMI, SD card, VGA and finally the power socket, so pretty much anything you wish to connect to it (pc, blu-ray player etc) should work. I've had issues in the past when the laptop has only had VGA and the projector and HDMI input (or vice versa) so it's nice to have all bases covered, even if VGA is on it's way out these days.Of course, the fact it is small and light weight is irrelevant if the picture is no good, but that's thankfully not the case. The seller says this is 1500 lumens - I have no idea no to measure that but what I can tell you I can't tell any difference between this and my home projector, which is apparently 1800 lumens, when in a darkened room. It's certainly nice and bright which is exactly what I was after for presentations. In conclusion then I've been very impressed with this projector - it's tiny, light weight and yet still kicks out a really nice clear and bright picture.

Refused to work with any SD card
Refused to work with any SD card I put in. After 100+ attempts on a 16gb SD card & a 64gb SD card, via the card slot, & via USB reader, it managed a few random connections then refused to show any jpeg or avi file. Card formatted, re-tried...same issue. Card un-formatted...same issue. Followed the simple instructions to the letter. Neither SD card are locked or corrupt since they are used in my camera for landscape work & in my art studio daily. I really wanted this projector to work, I really did, but it just brain farted everything I tried. Returned to Amazon for refund. Disappointing.
