As a preschool sped teacher, I go through a lot of lamination, this is the best Ive found for the price so far!

5 ml is perfect I do not care for 3 ml unless it is just for quick project then trash. 5 ml is very stable

I have never used laminating sheets before, but wanted to laminate some photos for a hand-made photo album project I was doing. I borrowed my daughter's laminator and purchased these sheets. The thickness of them was perfect for my needs but I did find that I had to be very careful that I did not have 2 sheets stuck together when I used them. The sheets like to cling to each other and I accidentally sent 2 sheets through the laminator once. The second sheet laminated to itself as well but neither sheet was perfect. There were still areas that were cloudy. I simply fed the sheet with the photos through the laminator again and it came out perfectly, therefore was not wasted. Of course the accidental sheet was ruined but I will find another use for it. The sheets start out slightly opaque but come through the thermal laminator very clear. (see second photo for before and after view) I wanted to laminate two separate sets of photos within each sheet, involving 4 separate items. I am happy to say, this was very easy to do because the sheets have a slight static to them that held the pieces in place perfectly while I fed them through the machine. I did not have to hold any of the pieces in place and they remained perfectly positioned through all 111 sheets that I produced. (first photo) The sheets sealed well all around each photo combination so I will have no problem cutting between them to separate the two sections. My photos lost none of their vibrancy and look terrific. Now I can allow my customers to handle the photos all they wish and not have to worry about damage to them. I ordered the 5 mil sheets so that they will have enough thickness to them to handle having a hole punched in them to assemble them into a photo album. I am very happy with these sheets and would order them again.

These 5mil sheets are flexible, but not floppy, so they did a great job on a number of projects where we need to have a printout protected for long-term use - game sheets for a youth group, medication types and times for a senior citizen, daily and weekly chore lists for the family. They're clear and everything is legible on the sheets.
