Philips MCM2150/05 70W Micro Music System

Got to give this little gem 5 stars just for its performance, although the settings are preset don't let this put you off the sound quality is great, Its nice and compact and looks good also easy to set up.Came well protected in its packaging so really no downside with the purchase of this item. Can recommend to anyone considering a new stereo system.

music system is good with a great sound however it didn't work when it arrived. I found that the live wire in the plug had not been connected to the fuse terminal. nearly had in it the box to send back.

Iv had this unit a few months now,its just ok,nothing special.i bought it to play mainly computer made cd MP3's...be warned...it has problems " reading " mp3 cd's..sometimes it plays them instantly others times it just comes up " unknown disk " or " no disk " after several minutes ....and then after trying the same cd it plays no problems sometimes.also it pauses or jumps ..Im sure its not 70 w too.

We purchased this unit to replace a Sony mini hifi which was 8 years old, and jumping cd tracks. And for the price and fairly good reviews, sought this product out to sit in our smallish conservatory. It is a few days old now but unfortunately not very good! The radio can be made loud but becomes crackly and the CD sounds distorted when playing anything heavier than classical music. There is a facility for sound adjustment but this is useless and the handset is very flimsy. So overall the Music system is not fit for purpose and I would not recommend this product especially now that the price has just gone up from £75 to nearly £100.Stay clear of this system. Go to a shop instead and try some of your cds,and listen to all before deciding to buy. Or not.

Cheap system, you get what you pay for, looks OK from a distance but up close price shows. Sound quality poor. CD player faulty so sent it back and bought a Denon.

Looks good. Sounds good. Fits on top of fridge simple to use. Great value.

I am very pleased with this product, the sound quality is amazing and has great tone which you can change if you wish. You could use it at the bottom of our large garden & wood and hear it clearly. You can set radio programmes. You can audio in your music from mobiles etc or usb. I downloaded full manual from philips website (support)(only 16 pages) as instructions supplied useful but I wanted more, . The remote control very efficient and useful as system across the room. I have tried different systems in shops but this sound is unbeatable, expensive but you get the sound you pay for, this sound machine is worth it. No problems at all.

Good value for that range.
