Trust your own judgement.
My camera suddenly failed to work. It would not transfer photographs to my computer. My experience with Panasonic Help left a lot to be desired.In despair I purchased a new lead for £2.99 deciding that if it failed the amount was so reasonable I would write off this amount without losing any sleep.It worked perfectly. 100% success.

Great replacement for the cable supplied by Panasonic
Good quality 140cm long cable which is proving to be an excellent replacement for the pitifully short (60cm) lead supplied with my Panasonic DMC-TZ60 digital camera.Charges the internal battery (with the camera switched off) and transfers images to my PC via the same USB socket without a problem.

Superfluous to requirements!
I bought this in error for my Lumix DMC-TZ60. The camera has 2 'sockets' for cables, one gold coloured and one silver, and a charging cable was provided. The instructions came with a warning not to charge the camera via the silver socket so I thought I needed a different cable for this socket to transfer photos to my pc. When this cable arrived it was identical to the charging cable! When I used the charging cable in the gold charging socket as a link between the camera and pc I was able to transfer my pictures! So this extra long cable is superfluous unless you need the extra length.

I don't recommend this product
Neither the camera end nor the USB end fit into the sockets properly (both ends marginally too big). It just about worked to charge my camera with a bit of a fiddle, having lost the original lead. It was cheap and wasn't worth the hassle of returning it. It got me out of a fix but I will throw it away and get a proper lead, for fear of damaging my camera with this lead.. I don't recommend this product.
