Another reviewer suggested that this kit did not include the required TR6 driver for the late 2014 Mac Mini. I can confirm that it does.My late 2014 Mac Mini now has an SSD upgrade installed using this kit alone.The kit includes more tools than required for a HDD/SSD upgrade. Quality is as you’d expect for the price. I imagine this would do for the majority of home users, but if you’re looking for something for multiple upgrades and repairs, this probably isn’t the kit for you.One small point to watch out for - the drivers in this kit are not magnetic and the screws in the Mac Mini are tiny. Care is needed to ensure the screws are not dropped and lost inside the body of the Mac Mini during reassembly.I doubt I’ll use mine again, but it did the job flawlessly and without hindrance.Recommended.

This little set was exactly what I needed to replace the hard drive of a 2012 Mac Mini following an iFixit guide. It's a very good idea to either buy a kit of this kind, or the 'logic board removal tool' separately, as it's possible to fry the logic board if you use the wrong tool for that stage. The screwdrivers are pretty low quality so you need to be careful using them, but none of the screws required firm pressure for this job. Spudgers are always useful, and these ones are double-ended. I didn't personally use the triangular pry picks for this repair, but I expect them to be useful for other purposes. The three screwdrivers aren't labelled, but it's easy to see by eye which is which.The tools came in a little case as shown, and a protective plastic sleeve for shipping. Overall a good kit for the price.

You don't pay much for this set, so to be fair you only get what you pay for and in this case; cheap price cheap quality. I've ranked at 2 because I don't like the set but if you need a tool set to change out a 2.5 hard drive, or in my case a mSata SSD drive they will do the job. These are one or two time use tools only!Broke tips off the 2 plastic tools for lifting the connectors off of the drive first time using them. The screw drivers are of the lowest quality.

The screwdrivers are colour coded but in the description it doesn't say which are which. Perhaps the seller could put this on the details?

this toolkit doesn't work with a 2014 mac mini which requires a TR6 security torx tool rather than a T6 torx tool. (A security torx has a small hole in the middle of the head for a pin in the torx bolt)

Nice little kit if you are to be opening any Mac items. This kit has all the small screwdrivers, Hex, plastic pokers....well, it does it all. A great purchase that will help me now and in the future...

Good set, however this does not include the TR6 tool needed to open the Mac Mini 2014 model.

These tools enabled me to disassemble my Mac mini and replace the hard drive with aSSD All I needed was included.
