Excellent table saw for long firewood-cutting sessions
DELIVERY: would recommend getting a friend to help out if possible as this comes in a massive, heavy box that's a bit too big and awkward to move comfortably on your own.ASSEMBLY: as mentioned in other reviews the instructions are more of a 'rough guide' than any real use - you get the idea of which order to put it together, but specific parts and instructions aren't too clear. A bit of common sense, a few tins of beer and 90 minutes later, the saw was ready for business. Very sturdy legs with rubber floor grips, a very good height for working on, and an overall nice finish to the table.USE: Couldn't be easier to use. Big green button to start. Big red button to stop. That's it. Setting up the blade is very easy too; one small crank-handle for adjusting the height of the blade, and a small lever and slider to lock/unlock for setting the blade angle. There are Right, Left, and 'Back' extenders to the main table, which greatly increase the surface area for cutting.I had this on for around 6 hours straight cutting up an old fence, fenceposts, and planks into small / usable chunks for a stove. The blade remained true for the duration, and only hiccuped a couple of times on big/hard wood knots - even then, just taking the piece back and cutting again did the trick. Lots of handy little extra parts to help keep the wood straight, and your fingers away from the blade too.RECOMMENDATIONS: if you can afford it, get a proper dust extractor. This saw is very powerful, and kicks out a lot of fine sawdust - so much so that it covered everything in my modestly-sized lean-to with a decent layer of dust by the end of the day. You'll also need a breathing mask, ear protection, and goggles (not glasses) for the noise and dust. I'll be wearing overalls for my next wood-cutting session too. As the majority of the dust comes out a hole in the back of the table you can manipulate it into one particular area fairly easily (see pictures).OVERALL: on a features vs price graph this one seems to be punching well above its weight. I spec'd out a bunch of others online & in hardware stores and this was a runaway winner (and had the best reviews too). I've owned nothing else like this, so can't compare it to other table saws, but couldn't be happier with this product. For making firewood - which is mostly what I'll be using it for - this has it all, and LumberJack seem to be offering big, quality tools at a very reasonable price.Very satisfied customer.

Ok while it lasted
Had this for two and a half years before the raise/lower mechanism failed. Up to that point it was a very good saw and did all that was asked of it. Accuracy is pretty poor and needs a lot of tuning which was disappointing considering the price. It baffles me that most table saws are not accurate out of the box, surely the technology is there to produce a ready to use tool. This is the case with all table saws (in my experience) This had a few faults, but i learned to live with them.PROS: Good strong motor. Adjustable width with the sliding sides. Back extension (about 6 inches). Full length rip fence. Tolerable noise level. Tool storage. Easy to use and assemble.Cons: Blade wobble. Blade not parallel to the runners. Mitre gauge wobbles in the slots due to bad manufacture. Inaccurate cuts due to poor machining. If you are looking for a saw to use as a hobby/diyer then this is ok, but don't expect miracles. I'm very disappointed it lasted less than 3 years. Would I buy another, not sure as there seem to be others on the market around the same price.

Fantastic piece of kit at this price point.
The saw arrives with some self assembly required. The assembly instructions were a little vague in some areas but if you are ordering a table saw you are handy enough to figure it out for yourself.Once assembled it is a rock solid work platform, the table surface is set up at a good work height and all the fences and guides are self explanatory. The rip fence accuracy is particularly good for a single end lock variety and the angle gauge wheel likewise. If you need it hyper accurate you would not be looking at this price level but a few trial runs on some waste boards using a carpenters square and millimeter ruler would give improved performance. For the home handyman and particularly at this price point you will not be disappointed with the performance of this robust and honest journeyman’s tool.

Great saw, powerful
Great saw, powerful, precise and well made. Why not five stars? Not that simple. If you want to cut a dado with a sled, you can't - the riving knife gets in the way. You could remove the riving knife but that's a real hassle; and then you’d have to put it back again for ripping. I sawed off the riving knife a couple of ml below the blade top, now I can cut dados and rip; but I don't have guard. All design's compromise I suppose. (To me the laser is something of gimmick, as on most kit I've come across. You'll lose it if you cut down the riving knife.)

Great table saw.
Paid for Express delivery, saw arrived in two days, excellent. Very quick to set up, didn't require instruction book. Checked alignments and blade and fence spot on. Only adjustment I had to make was for laser, which I probably will not use. Ran a few test pieces through saw and very happy with results. Have shop vac connected but was still amazed at how little mess was laying around afterwords. Going to have a lot of fun using this saw.

Top Notch
I've been looking for a saw table and came across this one. As per all the reviews of this table, it is very well made and very sturdy. The fence is true and the angle and winding mechanism is excellent. I am a novice wood worker and I've seen so many reviews for other tables that they don't cut straight this table cut straights. It also has good accessories, the mitre gauge is good and there are two tracks so I can make up some decent jigs. This is my first saw table and I am very happy with it.
