Does not function as a working clock
I don't know why but I assumed it would function as an actual clock. It does not tell time. Purely decoration. It's still really cool. Easy to change numbers. Nightmare before christmas fans will love it.

Perfect spooky decor!
Absolutely love this NBC countdown clock. It's been on my wishlist for a few years. There are several different options at different stores, and I selected this version from Amazon which most closely matches the sold-out option from shopdisney.com. This has lights behind the halloween/christmas, which is an insert instead of a weird hanging thing (box lunch version). The blocks are pretty good at staying in place, although I had them fall out sometimes when turning the light on/off in the evenings. The only issue I have with this is the numbers on the blocks could be better arranged - There was a day where I couldn't have the number set correctly with a blank design (the cat) and 2 numbers I needed for the countdown. I made do and the next day it was fine.

Doesn't light up on whole clock
The media could not be loaded. I was so excited to purchase this item until I got it and put a battery in it and to see it doesn't light up the whole clock only on one spot. I'm am not happy with this item!!
