These are a good value
These are a good value. I use them to store backups of multiple video clips that usually amount to about 4 or 5 hours in length while maintaining an acceptable level of quality.

Work well but can find better prices fbm
These work well and havenโt had any issues. Next time Iโll buy blank DVDS and CDs from fbm since people sell their unused NEW or open box CDs and DVDs at a fraction of the cost of these ones. It makes more sense if youโre going to need a lot of DVDs or CDs. Some are even giving them away for free on fbm or buy nothing/free stuff groups!

Failure at the layer break - Discontinue these!
These โLife Seriesโ blanks should be discontinued. They are junk. Five coasters out of 25 discs is a failure of a product. No it isnโt my drive or machine. Using a brand-new Plextor burner, these discs started failing repeatedly at the layer transition. What makes this especially frustrating is that the failures arenโt a single app glitch. The Finder and Roxio Toast both failed. Toast reported a device-level write failure: Sense Key = MEDIUM ERROR / Sense Code = 0x0C WRITE ERROR. The burns consistently die around the 50% range, which is exactly where dual-layer media is most sensitive (layer transition). These should be discontinued. Only buy Verbatim โDataLifePlusโ discsโฆnever these.
