RUDDINGS WOOD 9" Log Roll Border Edging 240cm Long Roll

Very easy to unroll and install. You'll need pliers/cutters to open the pack/cut the metal wire at one end, then it's easy. I found the best way to use was to dig a little trench about 5cm deep for the fencing to sit in then knock into place with a hammer until even along the whole border. Don't bother with a spirit level etc because the fencing will settle in different ways according to the soil underneath. On opening there were grey patches on the wood but that's gone now after a few weeks of dry weather. They now look great!

Does the job perfectly - holding back a slightly raised bark-topped border, stopping the bark falling onto the lawn. Good quality and arrived really quickly. Looks quite natural and a million times better than the awful plastic alternatives. Happy to recommend.

I wanted something to go round a flower bed that was a little bit rustic and this fits the bill perfectly. This has been protected well so am sure it will last a few years before having to put a protective coat on again, but looks the business around the flower bed. Also felt this was good value for money and arrived very quickly. Was so impressed with the quality that I have just ordered a few more.

Ordered 6 log rolls - all arrived well packed.On placement in the garden found a few of the logs to have long and deep splits.The 6 rolls were joined end to end - just to make sure that they would remain in shape and wouldn't split further, my husband fitted a 20mmsteel band ( with a screw in each log ) to the inside of the complete length before staining them.

One cannot exactly wax lyrical over a product of this type, but it is soundly constructed and does the job well. I have used it to edge a slightly raised bed, and have found it useful to screw it to a board (featherboard or gravel board) to keep the edge straight

Bought this product many years ago. One of the best buys I ever made. Looks good, hasn't rotted, robust, I've banged it many times with the lawn mower without moving it a millimetre.

Brilliant logs for edging look great in my garden. I've had some before and they weather well. Very easy to put in with a mallet.
