A double-blind, human pilot study published in Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine found that those who ate the most carbohydrates and took a supplement containing Phase 2, lost significantly more weight and inches from their waist than the placebo group. When stratified by total carbohydrate intake, the Phase 2 group lost an average of 8.7 lb. (3.9 kg) and 3.3 inches off their waists, while the placebo group lost an average of 1.7 lb. (0.77 kg) and 1.3 inches. The results were statistically significant. A double-blind, placebo-controlled study of 60 human subjects showed that those who took Phase 2 lost an average of 6.45 lb. (2.93 kg) in 30 days, compared to those on placebo, who lost less than 1 lb. (0.45 kg), on average. Those participants on Phase 2 also lost, on average, over 10% of body fat mass, and more than 3% in waist circumference.The study was published in the International Journal of Medical Sciences, 2007. A double-blind, placebo-controlled, crossover pilot study of 11 adult human subjects showed that starch absorption averaged 66% less in the group taking Phase 2. The study was conducted by Joe A. Vinson, Ph.D., and Donna M. Shuta, B.S., Department of Chemistry, University of Scranton, April 24, 2002.

Amazing!
I bought this ones mainly because the reviews were amazing and yes, these pills are great. Not only I have noticed less bloating when taking them with carb loaded meals but also in my own experience these curb your appetite as well, so a win win for me.

perfect for high carb meals
I only use this product for 1 day/week when i'm off diet , i'm on gluten free carb free diet and i take one day off every week for chocolate ,crisps and fries and this pills are perfect for that day to maintain my weight , easy to swallow , doesn't leave any after taste and it actually works.i don't gain much weight during my off days.I noticed they work better with starchy food like potatoes and rice , and not so much with sugary food as chocolate and I tend to take it 30min not 10min before meals

Warning do not take these
So these arrived in two packs. Shortly after taking the second pack I felt heart twinges. This got worse after taking them. I stopped and the discomfort ceased immediately. In terms of effectiveness they did not work I saw NO benefit at all but though I would see the packs thru in case it took awhile.

I have used this product for a while now and in my previous rating I gave them 4 stars however, I'm now upping it to 5 stars as I think they deserve it.I truly believe that these little pills give you the edge that's required to see consistent weight loss week after week. I follow the instructions of 2 pills 10 minutes prior to every meal and try to eat healthily during the week. At the weekend I continue to take the pills (but loosen my diet slightly) but still lose weight.I think I'd you're sensible and use these as part of a 'normal' lifestyle then they'll help you. If you use them without trying....well, they're not magic are they.

They seem to work!
I thought I would try this as I need to lose weight & I have been finding it hard to do as limited on what I can cook because of my disabilities. I have started loosing weight since & started these. I will try them again.
