I had already bought the larger knife (chef's knife, I think it is called) and saw how fine and sharp the edge was. Bought 2 more for my 2 sons. When I saw the paring knife, I got one for myself.It is very sharp, and the white handle stands out among the other knives in my knife drawer. It is a little longer than most of my paring knives, but that's okay because it gives me the option of using it on larger items. For example, I used it to easily slice a chicken breast horizontally into 3 filets. I wish it came with a knife guard, because now I need to buy one for this size knife.Recommend.
