We ’rescued’ a 3 year old Green Cheek Conure in October. He’d had a bit of a disrupted environment for a while and whether it was food deficiencies or stress his beak was too flakey and he had developed some discoloured feathers. Whilst the patch of feathers are still there it didn’t increase and will renew when he moults. The most obvious improvement is his beak as shown in the comparison photo! That’s 3 months difference.The liquid vitamin colours the water yellow which I find a bit off putting but that’s just aesthetic. The dispenser nozzle is irritating, it’s difficult to have just one drop and often needs adjusting as too much gives him diarrhoea. He tends to ignore fresh foods and refuses to try anything unfamiliar so I felt he needed a supplement to support him through the change of environment and until he accepts a wider range of healthy food.In conclusion, if your bird is a picky eater or goes through a period of stress this supplement really works to support it’s health.

Arrived quicklyBottle was leaking, dented and looked like it had been opened.I refuse to give my pets as it could have been tampered with so I requested a return.I can't comment in the flavour as its not for human consumption (I've put 3 stars as maybe the pets could have enjoyed it)Received immediate refund and advised that I didn't have to return so it went in the bin.

Good product

I am truly AMAZED by this product, I used it for a hamster who seemed to be on his last legs months ago, ( retracted ball and kidney disease)I bought this based on a recommendation from my mother who saw it used in the vets years ago back when it was just one type, not species specific.. I didn’t really know if it would help but it was worth a try. The hamster was slow and refusing food and just extremely dull with no life to him, well not even a week on this and he was out running about and scavenging his food again, give it the month and he was climbing and exploring and full of life again, we both were genuinely shocked at how much of a boost he feels from one little drop in his water, I can’t recommend this enough

I had some different vitamin drops for my hamsters and gerbils but wanted some for my elderly degus too, just as a boost for them. It's very concentrated so you only use 1 drop per 100 ml of water so it should last a while as they don't get it every day. I do use it now for all my animals and they all drink more water with this in which is good when it's been warmer... I know this says it's also okay for birds but I haven't tried it on them, but my 8 rodents all give it a paws up!
