Really cute
Really cute little toy, well made and my son thinks the noise is hilarious. It was a little hard for him to get his coordination right when he was younger, so probably best for babies over 12 months who are a bit stronger. A worthy edition to our toy box, and we like it so much that I’ve bought some more for his friends as gifts.

Great product but string is short...
Some have reported this already but the string is short. It's fine when an adult plays the Xylophone, but when a toddler who's hand coordination is great, they will struggle to hit the notes (especially as you go up the keys). I don't think a longer string would compromise it's safety (as long it's not meters long). Also the A key is off note which is a bit annoying. On the positive side, the movement of the fox (bobbles up and down when rolled) is quite nice.

Not instruments...
Cute to look at, but not much "music" made from them. Not much sound at all really. The bumble bee clacker makes a very small clack sound only after I vigorously shake it myself. My baby and even my 3 year old can't get it to make any noise, so baby is bored of that one straight away. The tambourine only has a very small area to tap, and again not much sound is made. It does have some plastic beads inside, so that makes a bit of sound, but it is quite chunky for little hands to try and grasp. My babies favourite of the 3 is the fox, but even this only has 2 very small bells that dont amount to much sound.Overall, they look nice, but are not at all what I was expecting when they are sold as instruments.

Not a favourite toy
I bought this for my granddaughter and it was of minimal interest to her until she reached 15 months when she was able to understand how to use the accordion and had the strength to use it. Before then her only interaction with it was touching the textured surface, but even now it is probably the last thing out of the toy box.

Favorite toy for over half a year!
Our daughter loves these. We bought them when she was just developing her eye-hand coordination. She could lift them with both hands and loved looking at them and sucking on the fox's ears. As she has grown older, they have continued to be her favorite toys. The shaking sounds are not irritating (to us) at all and she simply loves them. Once she was older she could hold one in each hand and bang them together. Now she is a year old and still loves shaking and playing with them, although hedgehog with his bumpy back is now the clear favorite. They are also easy to bring along on trips (can fit in an adult's jacket pocket) to entertain her. They have stood up to many tosses and falls and look pretty similar now to what they did over 6 months ago when we bought them.

A teething 15 month old loved it.
One of those toys that works at different stages, My grandson liked carrying it around or sitting in his car seat and sucking it, and will soon be able to pull it open to make the sound of an accordian. (pleasant sound) I was very pleased with the quality and different textures to feel and skills it encourages. It is an appealing toy built to last.

Skip hop quality
Lovely little toy, has a few different textures for your baby to feel and explore but for our daughter, shes still learning to grasp both handles and to pull it to make the noises. I would say that this is for slighter older babies who have developed good dexterity and has a bit of strength to fully appreciate this toy!At present, our daughter is using it as a teether and a table basher but she looks like she's having fun!
